The sage separated the coal from the furnace and what happened next showed the power of unity

And there was a sage named Gira. Many disciples used to come to his ashram to seek knowledge. Among them, a disciple named Udayan was very bright. But there was stubbornness in him. He always tried to make other disciples look inferior by singing his praises. His non-cooperative behavior was closely observed by the sage. The sage thought that if Udayan is not made aware of the value of union, force unity or co-existence in time, then he will not be able to find true happiness in life. One winter night, a satsang was going on in the grounds of the ashram. Wood was burnt to get warmth in the cold. The coals were burning in the heat. On one side sat the sage, on the opposite side sat the disciples. Rishi said - How sweet the warmth of this heat feels on a cold winter night. Look, how much heat the biggest coal is giving. Just take that coal out of the heater and put it near me so I can get a little more heat. Udayan stood up and placed the coal with the sage, in a few minutes its heat, its luster, its brightness became less, the layer of ash burned on it. The burning embers turned to pale black coal money. Showing that, the sage said - No matter how bright you go in life, don't be like this loose coal, until the coal was with everyone in the heat, it had full brightness, heat. It was bright, but gradually it turned to ashes as it was released from the heat. Vyasji has said in the Mahabharata (Bhinnanamatulo nashakshiprameva pravartate 1-29-20) that one who is separated from the group is quickly destroyed. The union-force, unity or family co-existence is one of a kind. In which everyone's energy, heat and brightness are maintained.

A single tree falls easily in a storm, while trees standing close to each other can withstand any storm. If small threads are joined together to form a rope, then even a giant elephant can be tied with it. When everyone is together, life as rough as Kantan seems to be as smooth as a velvet carpet. Even the denominator in the nature of a person continues to pour out a melodious note from the flute of shared life. It is said that (bhede gana vinsyurhi) even a powerful group is destroyed by disintegration.

In answering a question, King Vikramsingh's diwan conducted an experiment. Twelve sheep were kept in one room and three baskets filled with grass were placed between them and in another room five or six dogs were kept and two baskets were filled and bread was placed between them. After that both the rooms were closed. After three hours, King Vikram Singh noticed that the dogs had lost their loaves in the room and were fighting and scratching each other. Where the slats were empty in the sheep room and all the sheep were sleeping comfortably clinging to each other while eating grass. Diwanji said, Maharaj! The dogs fought even though they had enough bread, while the sheep calmly ate grass and slept peacefully, clinging to each other. That is why sheep stay together and stay healthy while dogs start barking at the sight of each other. Thus, as soon as the rupture occurs, the mass-power begins to decay. The strength of the family, congregation, union, society or country that keeps away from anger and selfishness increases and progress is made.

The love that overflows in the family remains like a precious jewel in everyone's heart. The softness of small moments of joy that touch the heart reaches the core and provides spiritual happiness. The childish openness of the family is the only taste. Under the umbrella of family affection, the court of affection remains full. Sometimes the tears that come out of a small mistake are wiped away by the fingers of Vatsalya, the grace of their tender touch gives one the assurance of life. Nothing is impossible for the power of staying together.

When a young man visited a temple on the banks of a river, he used to carry gram seeds for the birds, seeing the birds flying around him. Sometimes a bird would sit on his shoulder. His physically challenged mother came to know about this. He said to the young man, son, I have heard that you are very friendly with birds. Does a bird actually sit on your shoulder? I will be very happy if you bring a bird and show it to me. The next day the young man went to the temple. Birds started flying. The young man caught a bird sitting on his shoulder and tried to put it in the bag, but it flew away fluttering. Hearing its shrill cry, all the birds flew together. His wish was not fulfilled. The screeching of a single bird signaled danger to the birds. And never even went around the young man again. Thus, if one person in the family gets a signal of danger or danger, the whole family can be saved from future calamity.

Sometimes a person wants to get away from it all to make his future whole. But the magnetism of the family stops him. At such a time one should take the blessings of everyone and present the confusion of the mind. Because the family knows that even if a person goes away from home, the heart does not go away. Our family is as beautiful as a bunch of flowers, which is always wrapped around a person like a fragrance.
