US President Donald Trump has warned the Apple company in clear terms that import fees will not be exempted if the Mac Pro computer parts were made in China. The US President tweeted that Apple would not be exempted from import duty on Mac Pro's China-made parts, there would be no charge if it was made in the US.
Although the trade war between the US and China is currently underway, Apple is planning to manufacture its new Mac Pro desktop computer in China. According to a report, the tech company has talked about making Taiwanese Thorn Computer Inc. a $ 6000 desktop computer and the company is preparing its production at a factory near Shanghai. On the other hand, Trump is asking Cook to produce it in the US instead of China. Apple's stock price on the Nasdaq index has also dropped since Trump tweeted.
