The company is working to make Google Chrome browser cleaner and smoother for its users. Google is now removing some of the Chrome browser features. At present, users get many advanced features on Chrome browser and users are unhappy with its removal. The company says that after removing these features, browsing and UI will disappear. Let's understand what this feature of Google Chrome is and how it will affect users.
The current version of Chrome 76 gives users the option of right-clicking on an open tab. Similarly, right-click users also get the option to mute new tabs, duplicate or open tabs. But a recent report says that part of this feature has been removed in the latest version. Features such as mute, pin reloading a tab or opening a duplicate tab are still active. Features other than these have been removed.
Features that have been removed from Chrome include New Tab, Close Other Tabs, Riopan Closed Tab, and Bookmark All Tabs. However, they have been removed from the right-click option on the tab only. It just works the rest of the way and in shortcuts. The latest Chrome browser developer build also has a redesigned menu. It is currently unclear whether these changes to Google have been made in the Global Stable release but this option may disappear from the Chrome browser in the coming months. If you have a habit of using these features, wait until Chrome updates.
Although some users are unhappy with the features being removed, developer Uses data shows that very few people used these features on the Chrome menu. It will not make a difference in Chrome usage. A new version of Chrome has just arrived. In which users also had the option to hide their activity in Encognito mode. This feature is now available to all users.
