Janmashtami celebrates 200-year-old Krishna temple at PM Modi, see Pics

Prime Minister Modi is currently on a two-day visit to Bahrain. During this journey, they will visit the 200-year-old Krishna temple in the Bahraini capital and celebrate the Janmashtami festival. Along with this, they will also commence the project of rebuilding this temple. It is estimated to cost $ 42 million. The temple will be spread over 45,000 sq ft and 80 per cent will be reserved for devotees. This temple will also have a knowledge center and a museum.


It is important that the tourist of this country is the first Prime Minister of India. He will also interact with the Indians during his trip to Bahrain. He will also attend a special ceremony to rebuild the old temples, including Lord Shrinathji in the Bay Area.

It is worth mentioning that this temple was founded in the second decade of the 18th century. It was founded by the people of Thattai Bhatia Hindu community. Even today, only the people of this community care for this temple.
