The Indian is the leading consumer in using mobile data, spending 8 GB per month

Data usage is also increasing due to the increasing number of Internet users in India. According to a new report by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Indian Internet subscribers use an estimated 8GB of data per month in 2018, up 75 per cent over the previous year.

Trai's report claims that in the meantime people across the country will get cheaper tariff plans and 4G has also been developed. Indians have overtaken Britain, the United States, Singapore and South Korea in using data. Indians use 4GB of data on their device every month. Compared to other countries, on average, one person in South Korea uses 6GB of data, 4.5GB of data in Japan.

According to a Trai official, according to a study of the increasing use of mobile data in India, Internet prices dropped by 96 percent in 2017 compared to 2017. In terms of revenue, Airtel has benefited greatly in this regard. Total revenue of telecom companies was 38,882 crore in 2017, which is 41% increase in 2018 to 54,671 crore. Meanwhile, Airtel's revenue per user was Rs 127, while the revenue of Jio and Vodafone Ideas were Rs 122 and Rs 108 respectively.
