European and American airlines are set to ban some of Apple's MacBook models. European and American airlines have made rules that talk about banning the MacBook in all flights from India.
Keeping in view the risk of fire in MacBook's battery and carrying it in the cabin bag at check-in is also prevented. It is worth mentioning that recently Apple has announced the return of 15 inch MacBook Pro models from the market. These models were sold between September 2015 and February 2017.
The European Aviation Safety Agency and the US Federal Aviation Administration have banned flights from Apple's laptops. Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways have also imposed the ban. Singapore Airlines has also put a notice on the website that a passenger should not carry an Apple laptop with him for travel. The notice also mentions that the restriction will remain in place until the company changes its batteries.
Now the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGC) has also told travelers not to fly on some 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop models. The DGC has also stated that it is dangerous to travel with it in case there is a problem with the battery heating. The president of the organization tweeted and said that unless Apple replaces the battery with this laptop, it will be prohibited to travel with this laptop.
