Millions of animals are killed every year for carnivores. However, if animals are slaughtered in this manner for meat, it is estimated that by 2050 people will not be able to meet the need for meat. To prevent this problem from occurring in the coming years, some researchers from IIT Guwahati have prepared meat in the lab.
The meat prepared in the lab will contain nutrients as well as prevent cruelty to animals. Researchers at the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Laboratory have developed a technique for making meats in different ways.
One of the reasons for doing so is to save the animals from dying. It is worth mentioning that after developing this technique it has also been patented. Experts say that meat-making techniques are natural. Dr Vetan B Mandal of IIT Guwahati says that the meat will taste like raw meat but the nutrients will also get the nutrients it needs. Animal serum, antibiotics and hormones have not been used to make it.
