This bug was in Uber's token. The company generates a token for you whenever you are booking a cab with the Uber app. This token contains your ride history. However this is not the first time that Anand Prakash has discovered a bug in Uber. Prior to this, he had reported a bug that hackers could use for a lifetime free ride in Uber. Anand also detected security flaws in Twitter and Google. He was given Rs 1.2 crore for this. Anand has also highlighted the drawbacks of companies like Facebook, Google and Uber, as well as companies like Dropbox, eBay, SoundCloud, PicPay, Google, Redhat.
