Bara Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples in the country. The history of this temple is years old. According to the locals, the temple has a large population of people. There is a huge crowd of devotees during Navratri. During the nine days, millions of devotees come to see Darshan. The temple is known by the devotees as the temple of Bara Devi. Located near Kanpur, this temple is special for devotees. The desires of the devotees who come here are fulfilled. The devotees here erect a bangle expressing their desires.
The mother suffers 51 kg of jalebi in this temple every Navratri. This prasad is distributed among the devotees. On the first day, 101 coconuts are also offered to the mother. For nine days a crowd of devotees is seen here. Darshan of this temple started with the first Navratri Mangala Aarti which will take place till Dussehra and a large number of devotees will take advantage of it. Mahamangala Aarti takes place here at 3.30 am every morning. Then the Darshan Pat is opened.
