A new research at the Joslin Diabetic Center in Massachusetts, USA, has revealed a new one. Eating fruit does not increase blood sugar levels but it can accumulate more fat in the liver. This finding raises the question of whether or not to eat fruit.
Why eat fruit?
People who are accustomed to sweet things are forced to eat fruit. Reduces fruit glycemic index like cherries, apples. For example 120 g of apple is equivalent to 30 g of wheat or rye bread.
Orange GI is less than wheat bread. GI is the amount of time our body converts glucose into a diet rich in sugar. Blood sugar increases with food as fast as GI. Fruits contain many types of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which are considered good for health. The doctor also tells diabetics to eat some fruit. But they should reduce their diet by eating this fruit. Doing so keeps the balance of calories in the body.

This discussion covers the risks ranging from obesity to diabetes. However, high intake of fructose increases the risk of fatty liver disease, according to research by the Joslin Diabetes Center. This raises the suspicion of metabolic diseases.
The inclusion of fructose in the diet freezes excess fat in the liver, which is bad for the body's metabolism with the liver. It is affected by eating a high fructose and high fat diet.
Prior to that, the liver absorbs a high amount of fat, the fat enzyme, acylcarnitins. The cell mitochondria, then, are weighed down by the diffusion of oval-shaped structures into glucose into body energy. Broken mitochondria transform it into a structure similar to small bags and do not work properly.
For this reason, excess fat is leaking into the liver. This makes the body's metabolism worse. Surprisingly, high fat lowers the levels of acylcarnitins in the high glucose diet.
According to a 2012 research, fructose metabolism produces excessive fatty acids that cause weight gain. According to a 2010 study, a diet rich in fructose reduces insulin and diabetes, thus increasing blood pressure levels.
Does eating fruit cause harm?
Fruits are high in fructose. It contains antioxidants, nutrition, fiber which is considered good for health. Every fruit cannot be said to be good for health. Fruit intake should be done in balanced quantities. 80 grams of fruit and vegetables can be taken 5 times a day. Doing so will relieve you of the risk of fructose diet. Whenever you buy fruit, think carefully about its calories, GI and glycemic load.
Fruits like mango and pineapple fall into the category of fruit with higher GI in terms of fructose. So reduce their intake. When fruits like apples, oranges have low GI, they can be consumed without worry.
