Dead Sea (Israel).

Almost every corner of the earth, with a life-giving nature, has left some places where life is not shattered. Dead Sea, the Dead Sea bordering Israel and Jordan, is such a desolate place. Although the name may have a sea, the Dead Sea is in fact a large lake of salt water. However, spread over an area of about 4 square kilometers and the waves are unfurled just like the coast, the lake creates a sea view.

People wanting to swim in the sea without seeing the sea and riding on the waves that rush along the shore, but those who are not able to swim, have to suppress their desire to go further out to sea. But there is no such bond at Dead Sea. Even if you can't swim here, it doesn't matter if you jump in the water and surrender to the sea. The reason is that the Dead Sea is a specialty that there is no risk of drowning.

In fact, the water of the Dead Sea is so salty that no human being can sink in it. It is because of this specialty of the Dead Sea that the fair of the ladies here is frozen. People leap into the water with carelessness and float for hours on the surface of the water like wood. People can relax on the surface of the water and read the newspaper or book.

The Dead Sea, about 3 meters below sea level, is the lowest reservoir in the world. The Dead Sea, with a maximum depth of 3 feet, is known as the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. If sea water looks salty, then dead sea water is 1.5 times saltier than that. If the concentration is to be measured, the salt content in the Dead Sea water is 5 grams per kilogram, or 0.5 percent. In fact, the dead sea is unable to drown anyone just because of the salts that are so abundant.

Although extremely saline, salt cannot be cooked from dead sea water because its water contains heavy amounts of minerals such as potassium, bromide, calcium, zinc and sulfur in addition to sodium and magnesium. Fish or other aquatic organisms cannot survive in Dead Sea waters because of the high levels of toxic minerals.

Even so, the aquatic vegetation cannot be trapped in its water. The vegetation does not grow around the Dead Sea due to the salt and heat. That is why the ancient Greek writers called it the Dead Sea. Some ancient scientists have even named the reservoir as salt sea and smelly sea. However, even in such extreme conditions, some species of bacteria and algae have been known to live in the Dead Sea.

Although not used for drinking or salt baking, water from various minerals in the Dead Sea is said to cure many diseases. According to researchers, many diseases can be cured with black soil and mineral sludge along the Dead Sea. Water for dead psoriasis, arthritis, eczema as well as skin diseases, as well as for chronic wounds, is often considered for the treatment of dead sea water and shoreline. Blood vessels can also be relieved by salt and other minerals. Due to such therapeutic qualities, Dead Sea has become an Asian medical tourism hub for the past few years.

The Dead Sea, surrounded by Jordan on the east and Israel on the southwest, receives water through the Judean and Jordan rivers. As the waters are shallow on Israel's coast, small hills of salt and other minerals are seen surfacing on the far side. During the monsoon, the water of the Dead Sea remains in the water, but due to the hot and dry climate in the summer, the water evaporates greatly, thus increasing the density of salt. The area of the Dead Sea has also been shrinking over the past few years.
