Logic is more appropriate than me in this position!

Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, a pioneer educator of prose, and a social reformer, started his studies in school. He then entered the Sanskrit College in Kolkata and was awarded a scholarship for his excellent results. He studied literature, Vedanta, grammar, memory, justice and astrology here. Ishwar Chandra, who excelled in his studies, was awarded the honorary degree of 'Vidyasagar' by the administrators of Sanskrit College for his achievements in the field of education. In addition to Sanskrit grammar, he also mastered English and Hindi in Sanskrit college.

Once there was a vacancy for a professor of Sanskrit grammar in a college. Since Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's erudition is famous everywhere, there was no need for an academic and scholar like him to apply for this position. The administrators of the college called him and said, "We are appointing you as a professor of Sanskrit grammar in the college. You agree to that. At this time Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was teaching elsewhere with a salary of fifty rupees, while accepting this new appointment he was getting a salary of ninety rupees per month.

Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar thanked the administrators and declined the appointment. He said the more appropriate person in this subject is my friend Tarkavachaspati. We have a great scholar of Sanskrit grammar like him and it would be unreasonable for me to sit in this place. If you appoint them, it will be considered appropriate.

The administrators were pleased to see the generosity of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's heart. He was familiar with the name of Tarkvachaspati as a grammar pundit so he accepted Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.

When Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar reached his residence in a suburb far away from Calcutta after a long walk to give news to his friend and told this good news to Tarkvachaspati, tears welled up in Tarkvachaspati's eyes. His heart leaned towards Vidyasagar's conscience, friendship and vastness.
