Different types of fibers and chemical processes

We all know that silk, silver and linen are the three natural fibers. But you know, friends, such natural fibers are chemically processed and converted into synthetic fibers. Then we use it in many everyday things.

Such natural fibers are chemically processed and thus become man-made synthetic fibers like nylon, acrylic and terrelin. The chemical process can make synthetic fibers very thin and tight. Now let's look at what the difference is in nylon, terrelin and acrylic fibers! The nylon look is silky. It is strong hard and water resistant. Besides carpets, socks, ropes, fishing nets and parachute cloth, nylon is used in many more.

Acrylic fibers are like wool. Acrylic is used to make sweaters, shawls and blankets. Terrellin fibers do not absorb water. So the clothes made from these fibers dry quickly after being washed. These fibers are used to make sarees, shirt cloths, window-curtains, sailing vessels, water pipes.
