Running 20 minutes can reduce the risk of developing seven types of cancer: research

Germany, Ta. 28. December 2019 Saturday

Scientists have concluded after a study that the risk of developing seven types of cancer is reduced by walking 20 minutes a day.

This research has been published in German Clinical Oncology. In which scientists have studied over 7.5 million people. Researchers tried to find out what is the connection between physical activity and cancer

Researchers believe that two to five hours of physical activity per week, or even 1.25 hours to two and a half hours of intense physical exercise, should be done.

Rapid 20-minute daily walks can reduce the risk of liver cancer by 18 percent, breast cancer risk by 6 percent and kidney cancer risk by 11 percent. In addition, the risk of cervical cancer in women is 18 percent, the risk of lymphoma by 18 percent, colon cancer risk by 14 percent, and blood or blood by 14 percent. The risk is reduced by 19 percent.

The results of this study suggest that exercise can reduce the risk of cancer. Not only does exercise cause weight loss but even if a person is active in exercising and does not lose weight, exercise provides protection against cancer.
