When did printing technology begin?

Books were handwritten long before printing technology was developed, but it took years to prepare books. With the invention of the printing press, the work became much easier. First printing began in China. The first printing press was created by John Guttenberg of Germany in the middle of the 8th century.

However, with the discovery of steam and electricity in the 8th century, the development of printing art also accelerated. At that time the type composing machine was invented. Earlier composing was done by hand. Also, it took a long time. However, today there have been dramatic changes in printing. Now modern photo composing machines are running on computers.
