Vedika Kumar is enjoying the success of the first Hindi film

I have been working in South Indian films since I was studying in school. There I was getting a good job. At the same time, I could continue my studies.

'The Body' is the first Hindi film by Vedika Kumar. But in the South Indian film industry, he has made 3 films in four languages: Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. With such a great experience facing the camera, the Bollywood Vedic film has just received a good response. And now she is enjoying the success of her first Hindi film.

For Vedika, who has worked in South Indian films for eight years, the slightest question arises as to why she has not burned Bollywood for so many years. In response to this, the actress says that since I was studying in school I have been working in films in South India. There I was getting a good job. At the same time, I could continue my studies.

Also I thought that after getting some experience here, Bollywood is catching up. It wasn't like I didn't want to work in Hindi films. I have always wanted to do Hindi films. And I am delighted to find the perfect launchpad by 'The Body'. He also says that I had been offered some scripts before.

But I did not find it as powerful as it was in Bollywood. My opportunities to showcase my acting ability were very limited.

Meanwhile I got an offer of 'The Body'. I liked the script. I thought this would be the perfect film to make the first step in Bollywood. I played the role of a college girl and Imran Hashmi's girlfriend 'Ritu'. It also gave me the opportunity to work with experienced artists like Imran Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor.

Many people believe that Vedika had experience working in South Indian films so she could easily find work in this film. But the actress says there is no specific formula for getting films. Nevertheless, the work you are given requires that you work hard and diligently. The creators of the film, Jeetu Joseph and Sunir Khetarpal, felt that I was tied to this character so I had to win their trust.

Describing his experience working with Imran and Rishi Kapoor, Vedika says that I believed that Imran would be of a very serious nature. But it was not at all. It's very funny and funny. It never made me feel like this was my first Hindi film. However, I did not have a single scene with Rishi Kapoor. But on set I did meet him. They brought the whole team for dinner. Many small memories of working in this film will always remain in my heart.

It is well-known that it is not easy to survive in this world of dazzling Bollywood or any other film industry. But Vedika says that I did a lot of balancing between study and cinema while doing South Indian films. Of course, there were no flowers on my way. I had to struggle a lot.

But eventually I found her sweet fruit. I didn't even know how to contact anyone at the beginning of the rest. The important thing though, is that I kept getting opportunities to play strong characters. I worked with creators like Vasanta Balan, AR Rahman.
