Right now, when we log in to Facebook and see our newsfeed, everything we see is Facebook's wish. Facebook decides what to show us in the newsfeed, based on a number of clumsy algorithms.
Experts say that if you are fairly active on Facebook, created good friends, and liked a number of pages, when you log into Facebook, there are thousands of posts that compete for your attention.
Based on everything we have interacted with in the past, people who have reacted or commented on our posts, and many other things, Facebook decides what interests us more than their thousands of posts.
In short, this is what we see in the newsfeed that Facebook wants to show us. It has the effect of our history, but the decision is Facebook. The one exception to this is that we can set friends who want to see more of their posts as favorites.
Now, with the news that is coming, many major changes are coming to Facebook's newsfeed. Accordingly, especially in the Facebook app, we will get the option to view different newsfeeds in different tabs.
In addition to the feed that is most relevant to us (which is the current situation), we will be able to choose whether the newest post will be the first to appear or the post we have seen may be revisited.
This way Facebook has not yet officially launched the option to view newsfeeds in tabs. But if it launches, it will be the biggest change in Facebook's newsfeed in the last seven-eight years.
As you may know, Twitter has also had the freedom to look at the way we are interested in seeing the tweets.
