The date of Ekadashi of the Shukla Party of Chitra Mas is tomorrow, April 4th. The Scriptures show the importance of this Ekadashi fast. By practicing Kamada Ekadashi, the sin of birth of the devotee is eliminated and the moment of virtue is achieved. Shri Krishna himself told Yudhisthira about the benefits of fasting Kamada Ekadashi.
This year, the fast will come on April 4 and Saturday. This fasting is done on a twelve-day day. Ekadashi will start at 12 hours and 58 minutes at night on April 4 and Saturday. While the finale will take place on April 4 at 10 hours and 30 minutes.
Eighteenth Worship Ceremony
On the day of Kamada Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna are worshiped. Wake up before sunrise on this day and bathe in clean clothes. Put a yellow cloth on a wooden plank and place a copper container on it to keep the image of Lord Vishnu. Now first bath the Lord with the Panchamrit, then bathe them with pure water. Now sit the statue on the temple. Offer to God the basil, mawa, dessert and light the lamp in front of them. After performing the worship, perform the Aarti of the Lord and ask forgiveness for any inadvertent error in worship.
