Shriram was born from Rishi Shringa's son Peshti Yagna, which is the importance of Ramnavami.

Limit Purushottam Shriram is the adorable god of millions. He is also regarded as the best man of the limit. The common man can improve his conduct by observing the ideals of Sriram. Lord Shriram was born on the ninth day of the Shukla Party of Chaitra Mas. Therefore, this date is also called Ramanavami. Lord Shriram was the son of mother Kaushaya and Dashrath.

According to mythological beliefs, he was quoted in the earth as an earthly quote. As an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, he was destined to destroy the wicked on earth. A story is also prevalent on the birth of Sriram. According to this story, King Dasaratha did not receive a son from his three queen. He sacrificed his son at the advice of the sages.

This sacrifice was performed by Rishi Shringa. Kheer was received as his prasad. This kheer was given by King Dasaratha to Kshalia. Goddess Kaushaya gave some kheer to Kaikeyi and Kaikeyi and Kaushya gave some kheer to Sumitra. Thus, Kaushaya's mother gave birth to Shriram, Kaikai Bharat and Sumatra as he ate two portions of kheer.
