Feast: Mawa's fun recipes


Mawa samosa

Content:

200 gms of flour, 1 small bowl of green pea seeds, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of red chilli, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of hot spices, 20 grams of finely chopped coriander, 2 finely chopped green chillies, 20 grams of almonds, 1 teaspoon of amchoor Powder, 2 teaspoons ghee (for mouth), enough oil or ghee for frying.

Method:

Put some ghee in a pan, add some salt and chilli and then add pea seeds. Let it simmer for a while. Once the mixture is swallowed, add the mash. Then add red chillies, coriander, hot spices, amchoor and let it rise. Now let the mixture cool down in a wide bowl from the pan.

Add a little salt and ghee for the mouth and knead the dough with hot water. Make small loaves of it and cut the round loaf in half with a paddle and cut the shape of the samosa. Fill it with the mixture of mash and peas and fry till the raw samosa turns pink. Serve with hot samosa sauce.

Mawa hot pot

Content:

1 bowl of mash, 2 bowls of mashed potatoes, 1 bowl of white sauce, 1/2 bowl of finely chopped carrots, 1/2 bowl of boiled peas, 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic and green chilli paste, 2 chopped tomatoes, pinch of salt: Spoon pepper.

Ingredients for white sauce: 1 1/2 bowls of milk, 2 teaspoons almonds, pinch of pepper, 1 teaspoon of butter and salt.

Method: Heat butter and fry raisins in it for a while. Add milk, salt and chilli and keep stirring till it thickens. Mix the mava in white sauce and whisk. Add all the vegetables, ginger, garlic paste, salt and pepper and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with tomatoes and serve hot.

Mawa Chola Roll

Content:

200 gms of flour, 50 gms of chola seeds, 15 gms of powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons of finely chopped cashew nuts and almonds.

Method: Heat a cauldron. Squeeze the chola seeds lightly and press with a cloth. Doing so will make the chola swell and grow in size. Roast all the cholas in this way. Make sugar syrup. Be careful not to make the syrup too thick. Mix the roasted chola well in the syrup. Now add mash in it too. And do exactly that. Now make a roll of it, fill it with chopped cashew nuts and roll again. Prepare all this way.

Mawa Mix Fruit Pudding

Content:

1/2 liter milk, 20 gms of flour, 150 gms of sugar, 2 bananas

Method:

Let the milk heat over medium heat for 15 minutes in a thick bottomed pan. Stir in the flour and sugar. Once the mixture becomes thick and thick, add all the chopped fruits and keep stirring for 2-3 minutes. Once the pudding cools down, add rose water. Then place in the fridge to cool and serve at meal time.




Mava heads

Content:

10 to 12 bread slices, 1 bowl of mash, 1 bowl of boiled potatoes, 2 chopped tomatoes, crushed turmeric, 2 chopped green chillies, essential oil for frying, 1 bowl of chana flour or mugi dal flour, 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste, 1 / 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper, 2/3 teaspoon salt,

Method:

Mix turmeric and salt in the chopped green chillies and mashed potatoes and keep aside. Spread the bread squarely. Sprinkle a little water on it and squeeze a little. Now first put a layer of mava on it then a layer of potatoes and chopped tomatoes on top of it. Roll the bread into a large roll and keep it in the fridge for 20-2 minutes. Now add salt, chilli, ginger, garlic paste in the chickpea flour and make a thick pudding. Cut 1-1 cm thick slices from a large roll, dip in chickpea flour and fry in hot oil. Serve this dish hot. When serving, add a little grated mash.
