How is food made from vegetable leaves?

Whether it is a small leaf of Mali or a leaf like a large strip of coconut and banana, it does the same kind of work by making food for plants and developing it.

It is a well-known fact that plant leaves process food by photosynthesis in the presence of sunlight. During this process, oxygen is released from the atmosphere by taking carbon dioxide, so the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere is maintained. The process is very complicated. The crunchy leaf texture is amazing.

The green leaf above is made up of three layers. The top layer is transparent and smooth which protects the leaf. In its lower layer, food is formed. This part has two layers with soft sponge-like cells in between. You need a microscope to see all this, not the naked eye. This layer of leaves contains a green substance called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll derives energy from sunlight and uses carbon dioxide to convert the nutrients absorbed by the roots into starch and sugar. Starch and sugar are useful foods for growing plants.

Thousands of leaves of the tree are processed every day to store starch and sugar in the plant so that the tree grows. Flowers bloom and fruits are produced. The leaves, twigs and roots of the plant are also adapted to the leaves. All the organs work in harmony.
