Non-violence in all religions: Non-violence is the ultimate religion

- There are about 363 different philosophies or religions in the world. Many are even contradictory. However, one element is common to all and that is non-violence, kindness, compassion, love.

Bhagavan Mahavira has said: "Just as the highest thing in the world is the Meru mountain, there is nothing higher than it. Just like the sky is the biggest thing in the world. There is nothing bigger than that. Similarly, all religions have excellent non-violence. Non-violence is the ultimate religion. "

God has said, "All beings want to live, not to die. So stay away from animal violence with dire consequences '' as you do not like suffering. Likewise, all other creatures do not like suffering in any way. Therefore, consider everyone as your equal and have mercy on all living beings with great respect and caution.

"Killing someone is like killing yourself. To be kind to someone is to be kind to oneself. So selfish people should stay away from all kinds of violence. "

The lifeblood of Jainism is non-violence. That is to say, Jainism is a religion formed on the basis of non-violence, compassion, compassion and protection of all beings and nature only. Jaindarshan clearly states that only a person who adheres properly to non-violence will naturally stay away from sins like untruth, theft, abstinence and abstinence. The non-violence of Jain philosophy means not to physically kill any life, not only that, but not to make life suffer from the emotion of the mind, from the guilt of speech or physically, not to give pain and not to eat.

Even the price of beating or hurting where violence is considered and piercing someone's heart with the arrow of words, hurting, hurting, killing, slandering, saying unpleasant. To tell a lie ... it is also violence that Jaindarshan clearly commands, there is no room for untruth, theft, abrahmacharya or parigraha ... etc. When we greedily gather special things, wealth, individuals, animals for our service from our need, it is also sheer violence. We do it at the expense of others, that's why it becomes violence. And commit many sins to gather. It is also the same type of violence. Parigraha is fainting.

Therefore, special Tirthankaras say that not only should we not hurt anyone with our mind, promise or body, not only should we not give pain, but to make someone do such an act or to encourage someone to do so is also violence. It also stops karma in that way.

In the Jain tradition, the sage has a subtle non-violence. Which is called Ahimsa Mahavrat. The listeners / gentlemen-sannari living in the world, in order to run the world, may not observe even the slightest non-violence for the sake of meaning-work, but consciously, they must practice non-violence as much as possible out of negligence. Not to kill creatures. Don't bind, don't amputate their limbs. Don't overload. Don't overwork. Give them proper food and water on time. Whether it is a man or an animal.

The root of the Dharma tree is kindness. This vow is to be observed in order to treat all living beings with self, understanding and compassionate treatment.

At the same time, our food needs to be totally non-violent, sattvic, only then the non-violence is properly observed.

Abandonment of dinner, abstinence from tubers, abstinence from stale food, abstinence from dicotyledon .. There is a lot of religiosity behind all this. This puts an end to life violence as well as deep science. Which are both nurturers of non-violence. Alas, Jaindarshan suggests giving up as much as possible the vignettes which increase the raga, such as sweets, fried foods, milk and curd. While violent substances which increase hatred, infatuation, anger etc. and tamasic substances which cause mental imbalance such as meat, fish, eggs, honey, alcohol .. are completely banned in it. At the same time, there is a clear command to give up addiction.

Purity of mind is the Gangotri of non-violence. Acharya Haribhadrasuri has said that the pure culmination of the soul is non-violence. The emotions of the mind like anger, love, respect, greed and anger and hatred are inauspicious. Violence is born out of it. So consciously stay away from raga dwesh etc. See this subtitle ...

Concerned neo-hippies and their global warming, i'll tell ya.

Tatpapen nijatma hi, dunkhavnau cha patyate.

If an animal thinks of harming or hurting someone in any way, even with the determination of the mind, it hurts its own soul.

Also, Jivavadha Atmavadho, Jivadayadadatmano Daya Bhavati.

Tasmat sarvajivahinsa, parityatkadadatmakamain.

What is religion? The Dharma that assumes Dharayati Iti Dharma: The same Dharma that sustains Satna, sustains the earth, sustains existence.

Moreover, the nature of the thing is religion, says Jaindarshan. That is why the religion of non-violence, which sustains the world and is inherent in the soul, must be properly followed. That is religion. And the protection of the environment is the worship of nature.

All religions accept non-violence

In fact, non-violence is accepted by all religions. We have seen the subtlety of non-violence in Jainism. So in Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Mimamsa, Yoga of Sanatan Dharma ... even in other scriptures it is said that non-violence is the original religion. All incarnate great men like Lord Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Christ, Asho Zarathustra, Mahmand Paygambar, Guru Nanak as well as Saint Tulsidas and all other saints have sung the great glory of non-violence.

The same element that the Tirthankara Lord Mahavira said in the form of non-violence (purification of the mind, purification of the word and activity from the body), the same element was enlightened by the compassion of Lord Buddha and assimilated in the love of the same father and son Jesus. The same element is contained in the extreme mercy of Sanatan Dharma. There are about 7 different philosophies in the world. Many are even contradictory. However, one element is common to all and that is non-violence, kindness, compassion, love. There is no difference of opinion, that is why non-violence is paramount.

So let us see .. A description of the excellence of non-violence in different philosophies.

Maharshi Vyas has said that:

अष्टादशपुराणेषु व्यास्य वचनद्वयम्।

Philanthropy: Punyaya papaya parapidam.

The essence of the eighteen Puranas is that charity brings virtue. Violence and pain are sins. The essence of the millions of scriptures of religion is that you should not behave in a way that is hostile to yourself (violence, lies, etc.) towards others.

Lord Krishna has said in the Bhagavad Gita that Atmavat Sarvabhuteshuya: Pashyati Sa: Pashyati.

You see all beings with the same vision of self!

It is also said that O Arjuna, I have lived in the earth, in the air, in the fire, in the water, in the vegetation and in all living beings. I will not destroy anyone who knows me and will not do any violence. He will receive my grace.

Universe Purana: Non-violence is the gateway to religion. That is what the Maharishis have said.

Mahabharata: O Yudhisthira! Even if someone donates a spoon of gold and donates the whole earth, it is not equivalent to donating a living being. Non-violence is the whole religion.

Padmapuran: Just as all rivers enter the ocean, all religions are involved in non-violence.

Happiness is achieved only by renouncing the Majjimanikaya Granth (Buddhism) violence. Violence is the cause of suffering.

Guru Nanak (Sikhism): He who eats meat, and consumes intoxicants, all his virtues are destroyed.

Qur'an Sharif: God's first command is to have mercy on all living beings.

Anyone who commits violence against life is considered the killer of all mankind. Which saves any one life. It is considered to have saved the lives of hundreds of human beings.

Zarathustra (Zoroastrianism): Carefully protect all living beings. Animal violence, God considers evil.

The Bible: Never forsake compassion and truth. Always hold it in your heart and in your speech. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The benefactor is blessed. Cruel men drown in a sea of sorrow.

Hebrew Bible (Jewish): Thou shalt not kill.

Shinto Dharma (Japan): The whole world is one family. Keep the love Don't do violence.

Saint Tulsidas and Saint Kabir have also said that kindness is the root of religion. As long as there is prana, do not leave mercy. Do not kill poor innocent creatures. Like us, they love life.
