This fruit, which is special in Cho Masa, is known in Sanskrit as Jambu and in Latin as 'Sizigium cuminni'. This is mentioned in Ayurveda's Charak-Sushruta-Bhavaprakash.
This is a large tree, the fruits are 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches long, round, hollow inside the fruit. Its fruits are widely sold in the market during the monsoon season. There are three or four varieties of this. Generally two varieties are more popular (1) big purple and (2) small purple. The big purple is known as 'Ravan'.
Purple fruit contains protein, fat, carbohydrates, as well as vitamins A, B, C, tannins, starch, glycosites, gallic acid, etc. Which are sour, sour, and turmeric in taste. It turns into cold and digestible tura bitterness.
Usage: (as medicine)
Urinary tract infections such as inflammation of the urinary tract or bladder. Useful in urinary incontinence, urinary bleeding.
Useful in gynecological diseases like bloody diarrhea, dysentery, hemorrhage and leukemia.

Liver and spleen disorders, indigestion - gas - loss of appetite, stomach ailments, etc. 'Jambavasav' made from purple works well. This causes anemia, jaundice, stomach ailments and redness in the body.
Diabetes: Diabetes - In the disease of sugar in the blood or urine, the use of this plant is very effective. Dry the bottom of it and mix it with turmeric and pepper to make a powder and take 1 to 2 teaspoons 3 times a day, it is very useful in diabetes and complications caused by diabetes. It is also important to follow a diabetic diet. This will lower the blood sugar level. Diabetes Inflammation - Emptyness - Weakness. (Diabetic neuropathy) is advised to use.
In this way purple works well in many diseases. This is one of the biggest natural gifts for human health in the rainy season.
