Just as there are boats to swim in the sea, this world is a boat to swim in the sea, Harikatha-Harinam. Valmikiji has taken pity on us and donated this Harikatha-Ramakatha-shaped boat. If happiness is the innate form of God, then the same form of soul (jiva) can also be said. Happiness and sorrow are not the religion of the soul. The soul is not covered with happiness and sorrow. He who understands this correctly understands happiness and sorrow as unnatural and stays away from its effect.
Happiness and sorrow do not last forever, they are both impermanent and fleeting. Nitya is only the innate pleasure of God. Therefore, one should not indulge in happiness and sorrow. Even though the being itself is a form of pleasure, instead of finding pleasure within itself, it opens pleasure outside. It eats, and cannot be enjoyed.
