Speaking about the poet and director Gulzar Saheb, the actress said that Gulzar Saro's contribution in making me aware of my abilities was very important and because of him I did not even know it and as an actress I was gaining capacity and becoming more and more confident.
He was really like an angel to me because people gain confidence after reaching certain stages of their careers. But I had gained confidence a long time ago.
She also received a National Award for her role in Machis. The actress says that if I tell the truth, it would not be an exaggeration to say that she found herself after meeting Gulzar Saheb.
The actress is also known for playing a character that is very difficult. In her film Existence, she played the role of a mother at the age of only 30. And his characters in Drishyam and Haider were also challenging.
"I didn't see my character as anyone's mother or sister at the time but I was happy with what I was offered at the time," he said.
He admits that he is getting a variety of characters just by adopting his challenging characters. He says that I have acted in all kinds of films. Tabu got offers for every Telugu film, ghost related, Hollywood like film but it did not become a typecast and flourished in variety.
The actress has also experienced financial bias in Bollywood. In his previous interview, he said that he was getting less return than the actor. But even today he is proud of the films he has acted in. He is happy with the love and success he has received. He says I have worked hard to get myself back to where I deserve it.
The 9-year-old actress decided to live happily alone in her professional life and not to get married. The actress says that by not getting married, I do not feel any loss and I never regret my decision if I regret it. If it were, I would have missed the wedding long ago. It was a very simple matter for me. But I am happy and want to live my life in peace.
