It is only natural that a person who talks about the use of narcotics and its trafficking gang in Bollywood will come to the notice of that gang. That gang targets you
Ravi Kishan, a well-known actor of Hindi and Bhojpuri films and an MP from Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) has been in the news for some time now. However, the discussion is not about any film or politics but about drugs that are associated with Bollywood in one way or another.
Earlier, Ravi Kish had expressed concern over the contamination of drugs in Bollywood during the Lok Sabha debate. During the debate, Jaya Bhaduri, a well-known Bollywood actress, expressed her indignation over Ravi Kishan's statement.
Whatever happened due to Ravi Kishan's statement, there were press reports that he had received serious threats. As a result, the Uttar Pradesh government has provided Y + category security to Ravi Kishan. Ravi Kishan says that it is natural for a person to talk about the use of narcotics in Bollywood and the gang that manipulates it. That gang will target you. You may even get shot. Just because of this fear, no one utters a single word in this matter.
However, if I keep thinking about all these things, then I can't do any good work. People know me only as an actor but they don't know that I have another identity. In fact, I have long been concerned about the use of narcotics. I didn’t see all this when I entered the film industry but for the last seven-eight years I have seen and known a lot of not seeing and not knowing. I have expressed the concern that was in the depths of my mind. In fact, this is also my duty because otherwise what will the future generation say? Artists are not ornaments or decorations arranged in the Lok Sabha. If I am a member of the Lok Sabha, I have to give voice to the problems of the society and the country.
I had earlier discussed in the Lok Sabha about the use of drugs in the film world but this time it has got more publicity. Surprisingly, songs are also being made about intoxicants and words like 'cool' are being used for drugs in songs.
Ravi Kish even raised the issue that I have raised 14 questions in the Lok Sabha so far and that too against my own government. They will have to answer my questions when my government is in power today. When I raised the issue of narcotics in the Lok Sabha, I had an assumption in my mind that since Jayaji (Jaya Bachchan) was my senior in the film world, he would give me the necessary support on this issue. However, something different happened than I expected. This is how I touch Jayaji's feet in the Lok Sabha. Even though harsh words were uttered during the discussion, I will always have respect in my heart for him because Jayaji is my senior. Even today, if our seniors or elders come to our room, we immediately get up. Even if their motor passes near us, we immediately respect them. Our sacraments are so bright.
On the other hand, whether it is politics or intoxicants or the death of a star, the image of the people of Bollywood is different on Twitter or in the media or in the Lok Sabha.
Ravi Kishan says, "Honestly, I don't support such Twitter or any other kind of message. In fact, there are many actors in the film world who have won Bharat Ratna, Dada Saheb Phalke Award and Padma Award." All these artists are inspiring for us. I have worked with many great artists of South India. The speech and behavior of all these artists are very discreet and disciplined in public places or at any function. They know very well that the people consider them to be the real God. We have to fully respect this noble spirit or respect of the public or the fans. Since we have a definite responsibility towards the society, we also need to be aware of our language. It means that the message that is conveyed to the whole society or the film world through our language is very important. On the one hand, Ravi Kishan speaks of civility, discretion and respect, while on the other hand, Bollywood director Anubhav Sinha has sharply questioned the obscenity seen in dances and scenes in Bhojpuri films. Anubhav Sinha has directly asked Ravi Kishan on Twitter to discuss the intoxication in Bollywood in the Lok Sabha as well as the obscene dances and scenes seen on the screens of Bhojpuri films.
Ravi Kishan replies, "Look, he may not know that my Bhojpuri film - Kab Hoi Gawa Hamar" won the National Award for Best Film in 2007. All these people have used Bhojpuri in their films only as item songs. They have used it for commercial purposes. Although there are many great filmmakers from Benaras, Lucknow and Bihar, they have not made any effort to make clean Bhojpuri films. If all these people are so concerned about pornography in Bhojpuri films, then why are they not helpful? I told everyone to come and make beautiful and enjoyable Bhojpuri language films. However, the fact is that not all these people have to appear in Bhojpuri films. So what will Ravi Kishan Bicharo do alone? Also, pornography is found in every movie world, so it's not worth talking about.
Yes, there are obscenities in music videos made in Bhojpuri. However, those videos are not called Bhojpuri films. The level of Bhojpuri films is very high and bright. This same Bhojpuri video has badly portrayed the entire Bhojpuri film industry.
