New record of fireworks


206 fireworks were set off in November 2012 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution. The 20-minute fireworks display was one of the most exciting in the history of the world.

In the 2011 annual fireworks display at the Maltese Fireworks Factory, the 108-foot-diameter circular flower-shaped 'Catherine' fireworks set the record for the largest eruption.

In Japan, the 116-foot-long Niagara Falls fireworks display was the world's longest in 2006.

Sevu, Philippines, set a record of launching 1,301 rockets in 90 seconds in 2010.

Portugal set a record in 2010 by launching a rocket weighing 14.50 kg at an international fireworks show.
