'Varta' was created for the first time in Gujarati language. It was 100 years old last year. On this occasion, a unique celebration was held by publishing classic stories of famous creators of Gujarat in 'Gujarat Samachar'. A treasure trove of Gujarati stories received a warm response from readers. After that, it is now presented to the readers of 'Gujarat Samachar' - the splendor of the works of the world's foremost storytellers ...

(Mark Twain's stories and novels are famous for their satire, humorous style, vivid illustrations, and unforgettable character writing. The novels "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" were sown. The United States has honored the author and his creator by publishing postage stamps not only of the author Mark Twain but also of his two immortal characters. For the savvy readers of 'Gujarat Samachar', his two stories about children will be presented back to back, because the month of November is Baldivas and of course this month is also the month of Mark Twain's birthday, and that is the first half of 'Vishwavarta' today. Today's story is 'The Story of the Good Little Boy', followed by 'The Story of the Bad Little Boy', two different stories of a good boy and a bad boy. What is taught to us in childhood? What really happens? Is the All Life Experience any different? Let's just enjoy the story without any background.)

At the time there was a good little boy named Jacob Blevens. He always obeyed his parents, even if their demands were unreasonable or absurd, he learned exactly what was written in the books, and he never arrived late for the Sunday congregation for the children. He was never absent from school without taking leave, even when his gentle wisdom told him that absenteeism is the most beneficial thing today.

No other boys could understand this boy because his behavior was strange. He never lied. Even if it is not convenient to do so. He simply said that it was wrong to lie, and that was enough. And he was so honest that it sounded ridiculous. And this Jacob used to take such amazing ways that don't ask. On Sundays he did not play games, he did not rob birds, he never gambled with a gambler. In short, he was never interested in any entertainment that could be justified. The other boys tried to find out the reason behind it, but they could not come to a satisfactory conclusion. As I told you earlier, they somehow realized that the boy was mentally ill and so they took him under their protection and did not allow him to be harmed.

It was a great pleasure for this good little boy to have read all the books of the Sunday Church School. He believed in the Good Little Boys described in the Sunday Church School textbooks, only in this. He longed for one of the good little boys to meet him alive only once, but it never happened. It may have happened that all those good little boys must have died just before the life of this good little boy, perhaps.

Whenever he read the story of a good boy in particular, he would quickly turn the pages of the book to reach the last page because he wanted to complete the journey of thousands of miles quickly and he wanted to see the good boy but he did not choose because in the last chapter The good little boy was always dying. And lastly, there was a picture of her funeral in the book, where her relatives and Annie Sunday Church school children, dressed in trousers, gathered around Annie's tomb in a very short and closed round hat that was very large, and each There were tears in the handkerchiefs of the man whose length was three and a half yards. He always wanted to bring such an end to the story. Couldn't see one of the Good Little Boys die in the final chapter. In his opinion, that was not right.

Jacob had a lofty ambition to have it published in the Sunday Church School textbook. He wanted the picture to be printed in a book with how successfully he refused to lie to his mother, and his mother's eyes filled with tears of joy. And there is a picture in the book in which he is giving a penny to a poor beggar woman standing at the door with six children and telling her to use this penny freely but not in a wasteful way. Because wasting money is a sin. And there are pictures in the book in which he very generously does not gossip about a bad boy who is standing in a corner hiding and when Jacob himself comes back from school he hits him on the head with a cane and then says 'Hee hee'. He runs after her to her house, chases her away. This was just the ambition of little Jacob Blvins. She wanted to be taught about it in the Sunday Church School Book. But thinking about it, he didn't think exactly why the good little boy always dies in the end? He liked to live, you know, and the death of the Sunday School Book Boy in the final chapter was the worst characterization of a good boy character, he felt. He knew that being good was bad for his health.

He knew that it was more and more frightening to be as supernaturally good as the boy described in the books. He knew that none of the good boys could beat Zazi Zick, and he was hurt to think that he was Jacob, the Even if he puts a lesson about a good little boy in a book, he will not be able to read it himself because he will be dead by then. Or even if such a text is printed in a book before it dies, it will not be so popular without pictures of his death on the last page. What good is a Sunday Church School book without a description of what he preaches to society when he dies?

So in the end, of course, he made up his mind to do the best he could with the limitations of circumstances - to live and survive properly, to survive as long as possible, and to have the conversation of the time of his death already ready, when the time came.

But who knows why, nothing good happened to this good little boy, nothing like what happened to the Good Little Boys in the book. The book gives a good start to the good boy's life and shows that the bad boy's tantrum is broken, but in his own case there was a problem somewhere because the opposite was happening in his life.

When he saw the bad boy Jim Blake stealing an apple, he went down the tree and remembered the story of the little boy in the book, in which a bad little boy climbed a neighbor's apple tree and fell from the tree, breaking his arm. Jim, who had come to steal the apple, also fell from the tree, but it fell on Jacob and Jacob's arm was broken when nothing happened to Jim. Jacob did not understand this. Nothing like this was written in the books.

One thing that Jacob always wanted to do. And that he finds a lame dog out of nowhere that has no place to live and that is hungry and oppressed and then he brings it home and takes care of it and finally the indestructible blessing of that dumb animal Receives. And finally he found such a dog and he brought it home and fed it, drank it ....

Introduction to the Creator

Mark Twain

Born November 30, 19

Died 31 April 1910.

The world-renowned American author Samuel Langhorn Clemens, nicknamed 'Mark Twain'. Was a great creator of short stories and novels. Samuel loved the river, and so did the fireboats. He even grew up and worked as a fireboat driver. No matter how much weight we put in the fireboat, it was marked outside the boat so that it would not sink. This mark means 'Mark' and 'Twain' means something else. The first mark was down. But it was considered safe to load a man or cargo into a fireboat until this second mark (Mark Twain), twelve feet high, sank. He first tried the nickname Mark Twain when he was working as a journalist for a newspaper in the US state of Nevada, which became his identity after living with him all his life.

Mark Twain remained associated with the newspaper. Traveled abroad. Among them was a letter he wrote about his experiences during his travels in the Mediterranean and Europe, which was later published as Innocent Abroad. One of her traveling companions showed her a photo of her sister Olivia and Mark Twain fell in love with her. Love at first sight (off photo)! Then the correspondence between the two continued. Married to Mark Twain. Olivia refused at first. Her father was rich. He also objected. But at the end of the day, both Olivia and her father agreed. There were ups and downs in married life.

A son was born but he did not live. Then three daughters were born. One of the daughters died at the age of eight. This was the period when Mark Twain was suffering from depression but his wife Olivia remained with him unhappily and his marriage lasted for 5 years. The pair broke up with Olivia's death.

Mark Twain earned a lot from his writing and lectures. But he invested in a place that cost him dearly. It's time to dump her and move on. However, with the help of his business friend Henry Rogers, he repaid the debt to the survey creditors. Even people who were not required to pay money by law.
