It was scorching hot in summer. Farmer Trahimam shouted. This will be the third consecutive year in Rajasthan. There was no turning of the wires, no swearing, no blue was passing. Neither the chirping of a bird was heard nor the chirping was playing in the dust. In short, there were no signs of rain. NGO Samvedana was also sitting tight this year. He decided that we would not lose much of our lives by waiting for rain, plowing, or sowing. So Saloni, who handles the Rajasthan region, was asked to get ready. Saloni's team must be decided, Renu, Chetna, Aamir, Dr. Bakshi - Agricultural Scientist, Sahana, Purvi and Driver Jetabhai. Sometimes if two vehicles were needed for food distribution, Aamir would also drive and Jetabhai would drive the truck.
The team reached Jaipur from all over Ahmedabad. He rented two big flats and built a guest house and office in it. Vent sent Aamir to the state government offices. All the information was collected as to which villages are suffering from complete scarcity, which villages are in the grip of complete scarcity, what is the population of each village, number of wells, ridges, lakes, raw and lined houses. Staying with Aamir, Chetna compiled a list of the number of members per household in the village and how much they would need - a list of goods, clothes, utensils, etc. Dr. Bakshi checked the ground water statistics of wells, lakes, etc. for the last four years and saw how deep the water is now. He was busy making a map of where and how to start his work. Sahana and Purvi were entrusted with the purchase of grain.
At present, only onions and potatoes were to be bought among the vegetables. This same vegetable will not spoil until it is distributed. Sahana was adept at keeping pace and the scales of the scales remained parallel to the ground in front of her eyes, otherwise it would have been the trader's. A few beans were also bought to suit the habits of the villagers. But bags of half a kilo of beans were prepared. It was decided to provide protein to the young boys as well, so it was decided to give a kilo bag of beans in the house with boys and half a kilo bag of beans in the house without boys. Then it was the turn of the clothes. In a city like Jaipur, there was also a charity of clothes and sheets. The Rotary Club came forward and the clothes were collected in the club itself.
Word of mouth spread and people deposited clothes from their homes into the club's office. She reached the club of Saloni and was welcomed by Mr. Shekhawat. They went to the room where the clothes were collected. Not only was Saloni happy with the response, but she was also a little disappointed with the look on the citizens' faces. He explained to Shekhawat, "Why don't these urban people understand the small thing that is still worn in the villages?" Shekhawat immediately understood this and asked Saloni to come back in two days. He assured that for girls and women they would order skirts, polka, chundi, sari etc. and discard Punjabi suits, pants, fancy blouses etc.
Tools were also bought for small artisans like blacksmiths, carpenters, carpenters, ghanchi. How can people who gather bread only once a day think of sending boys to school and teaching them? However, Saloni also bought some books and toys. The biggest question in all of this was when water drums, bottles, carabas were carried in lorries during the distribution of drinking water supplies. But as soon as it reached the people, the water would reach boiling point. Saloni ordered the purchase of clay pots and systemic muskets for this. Saloni understood that only systemic tools cut a long stage like the turtles in the story of the tortoise and the rabbit.
After all the preparations were done, the first distribution work started from Jaipur. When we reached Jetpur village, we found out that out of the total population, men were going out to work, not for those who have stayed, for some reason or another. Thus, there were less people coming directly to the village to collect goods. Saloni instructed everyone to go home and hand over the goods. This distribution work lasted two-one months. Saloni was now less of a villager and managed by staying in the office. Everyday details were discussed as we all gathered after dinner. Saloni advised that if you walk in the field this summer, take care of your health first. If any one of our team got sick, our condition would be like a runaway chariot. Secondly, make sure that not a single house of Chhewada is left.
Thus four months passed. One Sunday afternoon everyone gathered and talked about the experiences of the leaders of each village. Renu said, 'The boys were so happy to see the books, don't ask. Mandela started dancing as soon as he got the book. His believer goes and immediately asks, Madi, when should I go to school now? This book has arrived! Will this fly bring my school uniform? ”
Jetabhai said, "Rewama was shocked to see the sugar." This month, sugar also came with the flour, so he said, "I will offer prasad to my Lalji. However, for the last three months my red mouth has been sitting wide open. Renu said, "Wow, Jetabhai, wow, then you seem to have come after eating feast. Tell me the truth, yes, how many offerings did you get?"
Jetabhai was sorry to hear about Renu. As soon as Renu's name was mentioned, Renu must have been immersed in the thoughts of fifty-six victims! He did not know anything about this earth. Jeta Bhai explained it and said, "Renu, Rewama's prasad should be very simple and that is token prasad. It has a spoonful or two spoonfuls of Lord Krishna, the same. Then distribute the same two teaspoons to the boys and lick the teaspoon himself. " The bed would have been crossed. ' Renu said, "Jetabhai, if such a cake happens now and you think that God is going to be merciful, then please ask for a lamp of Allauddin, it will work for everyone."
Everyone laughed out loud. In the midst of this lightness hope sat a little quieter. Saloni looked at him calmly and asked why. Asha said one thing with a little embarrassment. "I was thinking whether to tell you or not. I made a mistake. Last week we went to Bansi, Khor and Ochari villages to distribute the kits. After that, the vehicle broke down and it took a long time to repair it. The village of Kumbha was left behind. We were all very tired and our drinking water had run out. The kits were left to be distributed in Kumbha village and we felt that people would be waiting for us with crows, so it was not right for us to return. So we flew to Kumbha village where the car was repaired. I was very thirsty. My throat was so dry that I thought I would die. Throughout the afternoon, my eyes became dark and all day long the strings of the same Lesotho began to dance in front of my eyes. In this condition, when Paridoshi went to put the kit at home, I asked for drinking water. Do you know what he asked me? "
Renu began to speak in a dramatic manner as if a paradox had entered her, Deva Re Deva! What a nightmare! Don't trust these shady people, yes! This one thing comes with one hand and also wants with the other hand. Fat re bhundi, don't you take water for pand ye hare? '' Renu started laughing loudly after saying that.
Asha said, "Renu, let me tell you that Paridoshi did the exact opposite, will you agree?"
Asha said that I have never seen such a lakni doshi in that village. It has thorns in its tongue.
'' Wrong, hope. Paridoshi asked me, "Yes, daughter, how many gallons of water should I give, if I am imprisoned?" He took a sip from the shelf, wiped it and gave me four gallons of water. But as soon as he held the paw in his hand, he said, "Joje daughter, don't drink water." His words sounded like a whip to me. I was just watching him. One even holds a glass of water in his hand and refuses to drink back. I remembered that pet dog trainer. When you give food or water to a dog, give him a command, "Watch. Watch means just watching, not staring! And don't put food in your mouth until Chad says so! My condition was worse than that of a dog. He broke the bread from the chiba and came back to me. He put the piece of bread in my hand and said, "Take it, don't drink water on an empty stomach, water will flow in the stomach. Eat this crumb before bread, PJ after water. "
"Madam Saloni, how do you understand that! Tears welled up in my eyes as I watched the man in action. Where does all this generosity come from in spite of living in such dire straits and on charity? '
