Detailed information about acrylic co-polymer

- Industrial Guidance: Dhiru Parekh

Chemical name: Acrylic co-polymer in emulsion

Application: Acrylic co-polymer is an N-ionic low-viscos emulsion. But with water it becomes high-viscose. It results in formulating clear gel as well as stabilizing oil-in-water emulsion. Getting PVP with this polymer to make hair gel makes the hair gel formulation better.

These products are alkali resistant. So that it is increasingly used in hair styling gel.

* UV air absorbers: Water soluble UV absorbers like UVERSOB (benzophenone-2) can be used if viscosity is lost due to UV rays. Which can help prevent the polymer from degrading.

Usage Dosage: Normal Percentage of Use is Between 02 and 2%

Chemical Name: Acrylic Acid / Vinyl Easter Co-Polymer, Acrylate / Vinyl Isodecanoatross Polymer

Application: This is a cross-linked acrylic polymer with enhanced lipophilic characteristic it combines emulsifying property with good weakening efficiency in a broad range of PS, stable oil-in-ans. Surfactant system.

Used level: Normal percentage of use is between 0-1 to 1.5% depending on type of formulation and final desired viscosity.
