The Scan male machine transmits a vivid copy of a picture or text on a piece of paper to another piece of paper. Do you know how to make this copy in minutes? Xerox machines use electricity. There are two types of electric crates. Static electricity i.e. sweet function produces positive and negative charges. Like a magnet, these two charges also attract or repel. If the two positive charges come close, they only cling to each other's attraction. These principles are used in Xerox machines.
The paper is placed on plain glass in a scanning machine. Beneath the glass is a strip called a photoreceptor. This bar scans the picture. You may have noticed light falling on the glass while scanning. This light produces a positive electric charge on the glass surface.
Rays of light are made up of photon particles. When scanning these particles pass only through the white part of the paper. It removes or neutralizes the charge in the black part of the picture or text in the paper.
Thus only a black image is marked in the photo receptor. This image stored in the photo receptor is solved by the computer and gives a vivid copy print.
