Describing his work experience with Rajat Kapoor, Mallika says, "I give him credit for his vision of looking beyond a certain box. I am grateful to him for offering me this film. I am the biggest fan of his work. His film 'Ankho Dekhi' is one of my favorite films. I was very good at working with them, but I thought the filmmakers would be reluctant to give me a serious role. They will not be fully committed to whether I will be able to play such a role. Rajat has shown me enough courage to play an important part in his film. In this film I am playing the role of an actress named Neha, her name in the film is Gulabo. The story of the film is ancient. We have researched the period 150 and 120. The way the character is portrayed in this film is very long. I am grateful to them for choosing me for a completely different role instead of the traditional one. '

I started my career in Bollywood with the film 'Murder' (2001). Mallika adds, 'I was killed as per the policy for the scenes in that film. In that film I was a depraved woman. This seems like a very strange thing today. People's opinion, thinking has changed. Our cinema has also changed. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. It was a beautiful role for women then, but we have lost the beauty of our cinema. I have been waiting for such roles for years, 'said Mallika.

"It is true that my films have not been released for a long time, but I was busy with other things," Mallika added. "I used to travel and make web shows. I was living my life. I don't have anyone's back or I don't have a boyfriend. In this business that recommends for my rolls. I was doing my job my way. And I have been living life on my own terms.
