Deepshikha became eco-sensitive

What could be more rude than a producer adopting an eco-sensitive method to get rid of the rubbish on the sets of a film and to do so to characterize the intention to make the film sustainable is really commendable.

Sanitaryization protocols and social distance rules came into force as soon as the epidemic struck, but single-news plastics, masks and PPE kits were also widely used. This has also led to a huge increase in plastic pollution in the country. With this in mind, producer Deepshikha Deshmukh took a sustainable path to make the best use of plastic possible on her production sets. At the same time, he is known as the 'Recycleman' in the country. He also shook hands with Binish Desai. He helped recycle the waste generated from their production and because of this carbon footprints can only be produced in limited quantities.

Deshmukh used at least single-news plastic as much as possible during the creation of his film 'Coolie No. 1' (2020) and did the same during the production of his next film 'Belbottom'. ‘We were committed to maintaining sustainability at various levels on our film sets and the credit goes to Dr. Binish goes to Desai. He is an inspirational entrepreneur and works on industrial waste recycling and management.

They guide us in various ways to recycle and up-cycle all our production-waste. Building structures are used to build a building on a set. Garbage is collected using plastic, PPE kits, masks or even empty cups of tea and coffee. We are the first to make sure that we have adopted an eco-sensitivity plan as part of our projects, ”said Deepshikha Deshmukh.

Expressing his opinion in this matter, Dr. Desai says, "This is the first time I have consulted with a film production house. I was completely surprised by Deepshikha Deshmukh's vision and commitment to change. Waste is generated due to irresponsible human consumption and it is our responsibility to dispose of it optimally.

I enjoyed working with them. And I think we will work together to achieve a lot of functional results and at the same time start a sustainable movement in the industry, 'said Dr. Desai said.
