Same night, but better day!

- Mist became Moti- Kumarapala Desai

The prince, who had set out to roam the kingdom of Po Tana, reached a desolate place in the dense forest. He saw a saint sitting in a secluded place, immersed in the pursuit of his goal by enduring cold, heat and rain and all other hardships. The king returned to the kingdom, but he ordered his minister to investigate how this saint spent the night in this bitter cold.

The Minister of State approached the saint and asked, "Sage, my Maharaja wants to know how you spend the night in the bitter cold."

The saint said, "Vatsa, my night passes like a king. Only the day goes better than that. "

Hearing the saint's answer, the king was overwhelmed. He could not understand the essence of what he was saying, so he ran to the saint and said,

"Your promises have embarrassed me. You said you spend the night the way I do, but you tell me the secret that you spend the day better than I do. "

The saint said, "Rajan, we are both asleep at night, so the night passes just like yours. The condition of all human beings sleeping in the lap of the sleeping goddess is the same, but there is no similarity between you and me during the day.

"So what?" I spend the day as you spend the day. "

The saint said, "No, it is not. You do good and bad deeds in the waking state during the day, while I am only absorbed in God's meditation, so my waking time is more fruitful than you. That's why I said our nights are the same, but my day is better than yours. "

All human beings have the same night, but the day itself is a witness to their good deeds. His deeds in the light of day illuminate his life.
