- Afghanistan has got the richest natural resource in the world. What is the 1,000 billion treasure in the hands of the Taliban?
About 30 million years ago, all the earth's surface was intact in the form of a one-piece continent called Pangea. There was no independent existence of Asia, Australia, America, Europe, Africa etc. The event that gave birth to all these continents happened twenty million years ago. Ko'k split the pangea by natural pressure as the roasted papad was pressed with a finger from the middle. With the passage of time, each piece began to move away from the other. A giant piece known as the Indian subcontinent moved north at a slow speed of 7 meters / per 100 years, where it collided with a huge geological crust called the Eurasian Plate 200 to 350 million years ago. At the place where the collision took place, the roaring Tithis formed a 2,500-kilometer-long mountain range in the Himalayas.
If you have read all this in geography books, now know something else. During the collision of the Indian subcontinent with the Eurasian plate, in addition to the Himalayas, a 200 km long mountain range known as the Hindu Kush of present-day Afghanistan was formed. Rocks, clay, mounds, etc., buried hundreds of feet below the ground, all came to the surface — and with it came out various minerals! Precious treasures of gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, cast iron, lithium, etc., and precious stones such as sapphires, topaz, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds have been lying on the land of Afghanistan for millions of years.
According to the chronicle, the first excavation of the treasure took place five thousand years ago. In ancient Egypt, it was customary to build a pyramid in honor of the emperor. Lapis lazuli / sapphire dark brown natural stone found in Afghanistan was sent to Egypt, where they were cut and polished by skilled craftsmen and embedded in gold ornaments. Sapphires from Afghanistan were also exported to the ancient kingdoms of Central Asia such as Babylon (Iraq), Mesopotamia (Turkey), Assyrian (Syria) etc. In the town of Shortugai in the Harappan culture on the banks of the Amu Darya River in northern Afghanistan, there was a factory for making artistic gemstones from sapphires. Extremely attractive gemstones with golden lines in brown were loaded on camels and sent to Central Asian countries.

Years passed. Is. From the 1st century onwards, Arab travelers embarked on adventurous journeys in search of new lands. Abu Ishaq Ibrahim, a native of Persia (ancient Iran), during his visit to Afghanistan, wrote in his notebook that there were inexhaustible treasures of ruby / ruby here. Ibn Hukl, a traveler from the same period, saw the Spinel / Snipel mines in Afghanistan. Snoopel is a type of natural gem found in various colors like red, pink, brown, yellow, black, purple, orange, white. Is. From the 1st century Abu Ishaq Ibrahim to the famous 19th century traveler Ibn Battuta, many inquisitive travelers during their travels to Afghanistan recorded everything about the precious metals and precious gems there in literary form. After the rumor of Afghanistan's natural prosperity spread to European countries, the number of bee-eating bears has to be slaughtered, right?
The first half was released to the British. In the early nineteenth century, a team of British mineral experts arrived in Afghanistan and relocated to various provinces. While mapping the country's natural resources with a geological survey, the survey team was amazed by the natural reserves of many minerals like gold and silver, gems and marble in one look and one color. He found that Afghanistan possibly possessed the largest natural resource of copper in the world.
The discovery also led countries such as France, Germany and Russia to take an interest in Afghanistan. But after the British were badly defeated by the aggressive Afghans in the bloody war of 1917, no country dared to reach out for its natural resources.
Nearly six decades later, in the 19th century, Soviet Russia deployed its armed forces in Afghanistan. Strict security measures were put in place to extract tons of minerals from the rare uranium mines used for copper, iron and nuclear energy, as well as for making atomic bombs. This white booty was not only white, but also red (bloody). Because the Afghans who fought to save the President's treasury were ruthlessly pierced by Russian soldiers. This sequence lasted for ten years in a row, but in the end, the Afghan fighters did so badly that there was no escape from Afghanistan.

Some more years passed. Afghanistan, which has gone through a long period of strife, civil strife and coup d'etat, is still in a state of political stagnation. The barrel of the gun created an atmosphere of terror. Government as well as private entities extracting minerals like copper, cast iron, zinc, gold, silver etc. started charging exorbitant amount as commission. Annual commission amount: કરોડ 500 million!
Eighty-five percent of the world's opium comes from Afghanistan. Many farms grow opium under government control and then the government itself becomes a middle ground and exports it to various countries. The Taliban threatened the farmers with guns and started levying 10 per cent tax plus 2.5 per cent duty on them. Annual Receipts: ૬ 150 million. Owners of opium-making factories were threatened with death and fined. In this way, another ૪૨ 50 million a year began to accumulate in the Taliban's coffers. Over time, the Taliban began to earn as much as 1.5 billion a year from intimidation, kidnappings, commissions and taxes.
This changed in 2001 when the United States launched a major military operation to wipe out the Taliban in the wake of the so-called 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. One or more of the Taliban's hideouts were bombed with sophisticated weapons. The world breathed a sigh of relief when the Taliban's dictatorship in Afghanistan came to an end in 2005. Of course, what the world thought was a full stop was actually a comma. Exactly 30 years later, the Taliban was about to raise its head to strike again.

With the formation of the new government, the United States sent a team of scholarly geologists to Afghanistan. He was to travel to different parts of the country and prepare as intensive a report as possible about minerals as well as gems. The team, led by Stephen Peters, made a lengthy investment in Afghanistan, during which time the geographical areas, including the Hindu Kush Mountains, were staggering. like,
Everything was found in the land of this country. Abundant treasures of minerals, gemstones and marble were found in 1,200 places. About 40 million tonnes of copper and 4.5 billion tonnes of iron ore were proved. Bamiya: Chromium was found in a 5 km long belt in a province called Bamiya. (Stainless steel is made from a mixture of iron and chromium.) About 114 gold underground deposits have been discovered, valued at an estimated 50 billion. In Balkhi and Josjan provinces, 1.3 billion barrels of petroleum and 35 billion cubic meters of natural gas underground groundpots were found. Valuable gems such as sapphires, rubies, sneakers, topazes, onyx, etc. were in sufficient quantities to earn ૬ 150 million a year.

The real treasure that proves all these staggering figures to be Fissam was the minerals known as Rare Earth Elements / Rare Earth Elements / REE like Terbium, Lanthanum, Neodymium, Cerium. (Rare = rare). Electronic devices of the modern age are impossible to make without them. For example, an element called terbium is essential for everything from televisions to mobile phone display screens. The many bright and colorful colors that are spread on the screed are due to the terbium. Can't imagine without the lens terbium of digital cameras, mobile phone cameras, telescopes and cinema projectors. Even optical fibers, which transmit data from Int, Ranet, cannot be of high quality without terbium.
The REE mineral called lanthanum is known to multiply the capacity of mobile phone's nickel metal hydrate batteries. If you want to make the battery of an electric car running on battery power instead of petrol-diesel light in weight and efficient, it will not run without a lanthanum.
After combining a small amount of neodymium in a magnet, its magnetic force increases in multiples. Hence neodymium mixed magnets are used in windmill generators. Neodymium is also responsible for the vibrations that occur when a mobile phone is placed in silent mode. The neodymium mixed magnet in the phone, which is about the size of a mug, gives current to the electric motor and produces vibration.
Experts have placed a total of twenty-two minerals in the Rare category, which means that they are found in very few places in the world — and even in small quantities! Afghanistan, on the other hand, has REE's Kuber reserves of 1,200,000 tonnes. All natural resources, such as gold, silver, copper, uranium, opium, precious stones, petroleum, natural gas, and REE, are valued at at least 1,000 billion! Unfortunately, that jackpot is now in the hands of the Taliban. How horrible is the idea that a terrorist organization with an annual income of 1.5 billion a year so far cannot do with such huge assets?
Nature has given Afghanistan a lot to become a prosperous and developed nation. Happiness if not given, without which મળ્યા 1,000 billion would have been received and what would not have been received? 3
