- The taste of freedom, the peace and happiness we are experiencing, is rooted in the lives of many martyrs
- Bapu's speech, his simplicity, truth, insistence for non-violence, his spirit of uplifting the untouchables touched everyone's heart
India is our country. India’s past was very glorious and great. The sages formed a civilized and religious society. In our country, scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita as well as epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata were composed. Today, all those who practice different religions, speak different languages and follow different customs live in harmony in the country.
The taste of freedom that we enjoy today, the peace and happiness that we are experiencing, is rooted in the lives of many martyrs. The people were suffering from the oppression of the British, oppression and slavery. Many novelists and patriots raised their voices against him and in return received imprisonment, punishment and execution.
Is. In 1917, Gandhi Bapu returned from Africa. Gandhibapu did not approve of the tyrannical rule of the British. Gandhibapu boldly blew the trumpet to get freedom. He started a nationwide movement on the path of truth and non-violence. The people's faith in Gandhibapu's speech, behavior and duty became strong, people began to gather under his care, and under his guidance engaged in the work of national service.
The British began to plunder our country and bring back wealth, jewels and valuables. The so-called 'Sone Ki Chidia' were pushing our country to the brink of ruin. Gandhibapu was frustrated by the poverty and suffering of the countrymen. Seeing Gandhibapu's high spirit, patriotism and devotion to duty, many leaders started coming under his care. Pandit Nehru, Sardar Patel, Lokmanya Tilak, Dadabhai Navroji, Sarojini Naidu all became his disciples, and Bapu's works began to work.
Bapu's voice, his simplicity, truth, insistence for non-violence, his spirit of uplifting the untouchables touched everyone's heart. Bapu's call communicated live to the dead, as a result of which the British government began to fear Gandhibapu.
The spirit of independence was spreading like wildfire throughout the country. Money was needed to make different programs successful. At the request of Gandhibapu, many rich people put money at his feet. Rich-poor-weak old people started carrying all their wealth to Bapu.
Gandhibapu, his fellow leaders and activists would go out to collect all the contributions, Bapu would go to Gamagam, Nagarenagar and patrol the money. In some places, money was given to Bapu before he went on patrol.
Once Bapu stopped to rest in a village. When the villagers heard that 'Bapu has come', they rushed to him. Bapu gave a short speech on freedom in front of all. Impressed by Bapu's speech, he started making all possible contributions. Among the villagers was a fifteen year old girl who was sitting in the corner watching everything. All the people were contributing to Bapu, seeing him, tears flowed from his eyes. Manoman Babdi, 'I have nothing. What should I give to Bapu? ' After a while, the crowd subsided, so the baby slowly approached Bapu and saluted him with both hands. And he said, "Bapu, I have nothing to give him. I am very poor ..." Tears welled up in his eyes.
Bapu placed the baby next to him and asked, "What is your name?
Is there?
"Ganga" Bala replied.
"To achieve freedom, I need not only money, but also courage, patriotism and passion to work. If you have courage, dedication to patriotism and patriotism, you will be able to help me in my work. "
Gandhibapu said, "Ganga, the people of our country are illiterate. Many still do not understand the true meaning of freedom. Superstitions and curiosities are widespread in the society. Our first task is to improve the society by awakening the people. Not all of us can reach everywhere. You are a little educated. You have to persuade the people of this village and the surrounding villages again and again. It is to awaken nationalism in the minds of the people. Just as the river Ganga has risen from the Himalayas for the welfare of all mankind, you and educated sisters like Tara can do this work, you can awaken the people.
"Bapu, I understand you. I will necessarily work in your way, "said Ganga.
From the next day, Ganga Mahal returned to the Mahal to explain and guide the people, and started work to awaken nationalism in the people. Seeing Ganga's courage, patriotism and awareness, other sisters also started joining her. From house to house, village to village, all the sisters started working with the flame of awareness. Gandhibapu saw all this and addressed them as 'Narisena'. Seeing the work of Ganga and her allies, many women armies emerged in the country. The British persecuted the countrymen and activists during many events like Dandikucha, freedom movement, protest against black law. When many workers were injured, these women came forward and started serving them. The women had to face hunger rather than patriotic deeds, and had to endure unbearable physical labor.
Today we celebrate Independence Day with much fanfare, but at its root, at its foundation are the noble deeds of sisters like Ganga. Blessed is Ganga and her fellow sisters ... Blessed is Blessed. Gandhibapu and the service-minded leaders and comrades, who gave us invaluable freedom by enduring everything from fasting, imprisonment, oppression. Kudos to such great people ...
