Shri Krishna Paramatma and Arjuna were passing by a small village road. A little farther on a poor Brahmin saw that Lord Krishna and Arjuna were going. He hopes that he will get the donation he needs from her, so he rushes to the two of them and begs for the donation.
The day he goes out in the morning to beg. Lord Krishna sees Arjuna leaving and begs for alms again. Arjuna asks him in surprise, 'Just yesterday I gave you a bag full of Sonamhor, why did this happen again today?'
Arjuna takes pity on his condition and donates a gem. The Brahmin-monk comes home happy and thinks that he will go to the city early tomorrow morning to sell this gem to the jeweler's shop and bring the solid and put the gem in the old pot lying at home and go out for begging.
His wife stumbled on the road, which was flooded with water from the river. When he comes home, he takes an old pot and goes to the river to get water. The gem falls into the river and puts a pot full of water in the house.
As soon as the Brahmin came home in the evening and saw him going to the pot, it was full of water. The wife speaks of the gem.
The wife says, "I slept in the river and filled it with water." The gem must have fallen into a certain river.
Husband and wife fall asleep at night with dark melancholy. In the morning, the Brahmin goes to ask for alms and tells the story of the loss of a gem before begging to Arjuna again.
Lord Krishna donates two paise to him. Arjuna is surprised, but he says nothing against God.
The Brahmin is getting sad, there is a fisherman sitting by the river and a fish is caught in his net. The Brahmin thinks that if we do not have to fill our stomachs with these two pennies, then let us save the life of the fish that is boiling for this life. He buys the fish from the fisherman for two paise and goes back to the river. Something falls out of a fish's mouth when it is thrown into the water near a river. The Brahmin looks up and sees that it was the gem he found yesterday that came out of the fish wax. The Brahmin screams loudly, got it. Got it. Sonamhor was robbed. The robber's chief was passing by. He heard the word 'found' and thought that he recognized me. If I complain to the king, I will go to jail. He immediately apologizes and returns Sonamhor's package.
The next day the monk tells Krishna-Arjuna about this whole incident. After this incident Lord Krishna says to Arjuna, O Partha! When you donated a bag of goldfish and rubies, the monk thought only of his own and his family's happiness but after taking my two paise he saved the life of the fish so he thought of the adversity of others instead of the small convenience of meeting himself and felt the pain of the fish. When you remove the adversity of another and find it convenient and think of the happiness of others and not your own, then you do the work of God so that you must attain convenience and happiness.
