- It is necessary to improve the digestive system to prevent the origin of new cough. At the same time, it is equally important that the process of defecation becomes systematic
Sani is a disease of the mucus that accumulates in the lungs. The lungs are not a place for coughs but a place for oxygen to live. If the phlegm accumulates in this area and dries slowly, the oxygen space will decrease. As a result, the lungs will not be able to store or accept as much oxygen as the body needs for daily activities.
Now if the phlegm has dried in the lungs, the body has to do double breathing to take in or accumulate as much oxygen as it needs for daily life and the rule is that the organ that works harder weakens and gets tired sooner. The common man has to breathe once to take in the same amount of oxygen and the patient needs to breathe twice to get the same amount of oxygen. This way the lungs of the infected person will have to work twice as hard. Not only that, the phlegm is an unwanted substance for the lungs (foreign body) so it will try to expel it. It is the natural instinct of the body to try to get rid of unnecessary or wasteful substances. The cough will start because the lungs will try to expel the cough in this way.
The phlegm is viscous in nature and if any treatment is given to dry the phlegm, it will stick to the lungs. Thus the lung's attempt to expel the cough will fail. Trying once or twice like this will make the lungs tired and the tired lungs will gasp or feel like they are having trouble breathing.
Just as the food we eat passes through a special pathway in terms of anatomy and if there is an obstacle in between, it cannot pass through it properly, so the breath we breathe also enters the lung cells through a special pathway. Now if there is a blockage of the cuff between these passages, it will be difficult to breathe in and out, and that is understandable.
From the point of view of Ayurveda, there are two ways to help a patient with sasani for healing. One is to melt, cook and clean and heal the accumulated phlegm which has hardened after drying, and to slow down and eliminate the process of new phlegm that is produced every day.
Although this work is not so easy, it is not difficult or even impossible in terms of the radical method of Ayurveda. The digestive system has to be improved to prevent the emergence of new cough. At the same time, it is equally important that the process of defecation becomes systematic. This is because if the cough continues to grow and fills the lungs, some other side effects and new causes will continue to increase. This is because the lungs are an important place for blood purification in terms of physiology. Now where the blood should be purified, if it is full of impurity or viscosity, then the blood will become impure, viscous and thick (mucous). Greasy or thick blood cannot be circulated easily, it has to be pushed. The job of pushing this is heartbreaking. So the heart will also have to work a little harder. Sciatica and respiratory disease are also closely related to the heart as the whole (oxygen source) is the heart of the respiratory system. So if the respiratory system is weakened, his heart may also be weakened inevitably.
Another problem can be caused by the contamination of the mucus mixed in the blood. A bad or increased cough can cause itching in the body. In the same way, impurity of blood also causes skin diseases and in practice, those who have shortness of breath or breathing deteriorate. The skin becomes dark, dull and itchy. Therefore, if the phlegm accumulated in the lungs and lungs is to be eliminated, the phlegm should be boiled and expelled by internal and external herbs.
In external treatment, shake can be done by massaging hot medicine like Panchgun oil on the chest and back. The shake will clear the cuff and loosen it easily. In the same way internal herbs should be herbs that melt, bake and loosen the phlegm. Along with this, herbs should be given to satisfy the appetite, digest the food and clear the bushes.
