‘Humility’.

The Kauravas and the Pandavas were arranged face to face in the field of Ku Rukshetra. Before the battle started, Yudhisthira got down from the chariot and started walking towards the opposite side. The four Pandavas and Krishna also followed him. At first Yudhisthira raised his hands in front of Bhishma and spoke politely. 'Grandpa, we are not free to fight against you. So command us to fight and bless us as elders. ' Bhishma was touched by the humility of Yudhisthira who stood with his hands clasped. He gave permission and also gave blessings. In the same way, Yudhisthira also received auspicious blessings from Guru Draunacharya, Kripacharya and Mama Shalya.

How hard is it to be humble enough to stand hand in hand against the one against whom war is to be fought? It was this humility that aroused the sympathy of the four and reduced the intensity of the fighting. When it comes to meeting an opponent for any fight or any compromise for any war, it becomes easier to resolve any entanglement if one has the virtue of humility. Humility is a virtue that calms the anger of the other person. Just as a tree turns green after soaking in so many monsoons, so does humility come to a person after enduring so many storms of life. Humility does not come overnight. It requires fertile soil like the sacraments of the house, good-friend-community, fertilizer like the auspicious goal set in life and wet sprinkling like faith-filled cloth within the mind.

The heroic Napoleon once went through a narrow ladder. An old woman from the front was coming with luggage on her head. Before the soldier with him could tell the old woman to move to the side, General Napoleon moved to the side and gave way to the old woman. It is also humility to respect an old man and a man carrying a load on his head. It is this humility that makes a man like Napoleon great. The humble person is constantly uplifted and his success spreads.

When Zayan Wal Zayan is released from jail after serving a sentence of 15 years, everyone is beating him up. A priest puts it in a silver plate in his house. But Zayan Wal Zayan escapes by stealing the same silver plate. The police catch up. Brings to the pastor. 'Father, this fleeing man has made us feel suspicious. We have investigated. Is this silver plate yours? The pastor looked in front of Zayan Wall for a second. Then said - 'Yes, sir. The plate is mine. But this plate and lamp I have given him as a gift. He took the plate but seems to have forgotten to take the silver lamp in a hurry! This humility, which touched the heart of the pastor, pierced the distance between Zayan and Zayan. After that, he remained in the company of the pastor for the rest of his life and continued to do good deeds.

The event-entry of such a humble man changes the form of another's life to revive the yellowish greenness of the green virtues.

Humility is a pendant that enhances the value of a pearl necklace of other virtues.
