Jatin-Lalit: Ashaji is credited with getting the film 'DDLG'

Lalit Pandit was a complete stranger and his journey began when he was involved in a chorus group of siblings and children at the recording studio of the Film Center in Mumbai. When his brother Jatin and A became the music director, he composed a song for Ashaji and he is the eldest of me. ‘They would come into the studio and sit with us and try to figure out what we wanted. We got in the habit of stopping and repeating lines with some singers, but Ashaji is a noble artist. They follow our instructions and proceed with the recording.

Lalit further states, ‘Ashaji, insists on doing a live-recording with his co-singer. On the day Panchamada passed away, Jatin and I went to his house to mourn. Extremely distressed Ashaji was with Gulzar Saheb.
