This page has said very nicely in Gujarati language that 'Ma te ma bija vagada na va' is always worshiped in the temple or at home. And even in this, when the festival of devotion and power, Navratri, comes, it does not happen that Vahalsoi Maa is not remembered. Navratri is an important festival celebrated by the people of Hinduism. This festival symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood. At the same time, it gives an understanding to your society that Parvati as a female mother is also Durga or Kali in the war, this year Navratri is from 9th October to 15th October. So let's understand the nine forms of mother and its importance.
On the first day of Navratri, Shailaputri Mani is worshiped. Worshiping them gives people a kind of energy. Devotees use this energy to remove their mental turmoil.
- The Brahmacharyani form of Goddess Durga is worshiped on the second day of Navratri. Its purpose is that we can gain a place in this world and create our own identity.
- On the third day of Navratri, devotees worship the moon-shaped form of Goddess Durga. The lunar bell is named because the mother's form shines like the moon. Worshiping them removes all the negative and false thoughts that arise in the mind. We get the power to fight with thoughts like jealousy, hatred.
- On the fourth day of Navratri, people worship the Kushmanda form of Goddess Durga. By worshiping Him, we walk on the path of progress and His blessings develop our thinking power better.
- On the fifth day of Navratri, Skandamata Mata is worshiped. She is also called Kartikeya Mata. Worshiping them develops the devotees their inner practical jnana.
- Katyayani form of Goddess Durga is worshiped on the sixth day of Navratri. Worshiping Maa Katyayani removes the negative thoughts inside a person. With Mother's blessing, we can walk in the right way.
- On the seventh day of Navratri, the form of Goddess Durga is worshiped. People gain fame, respect and glory in their lives by worshiping Kalaratri.
- The form of Mahagauri of Goddess Durga is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. Maa Mahagauri is worshiped as a white goddess. Worshiping Him fulfills all the desires of the human mind.
- On the ninth day of Navratri, the Siddhidatri form of Goddess Durga is worshiped by the people. Worshiping them gives us the strength to do difficult things easily. We can successfully complete those unfinished tasks. There are many myths prevalent on this festival of Navratri. There is also a story in which Shri Rama worshiped Goddess Durga to free Mother Sita from the captivity of Ravana. He worshiped 108 lotuses for nine days. After which Goddess Durga was pleased with his worship and blessed him to be victorious. Rama then killed Ravana. For these nine days nine forms of Goddess Durga were worshiped in the form of Navratri. This festival is celebrated as Dussehra on the tenth day after the slaying of Ravana. In a way, Navratri explains the importance of female power and at the same time gives the knowledge that if a human being kills the ego in the form of Ravana, then the whole world will shine with the truth in the form of Rama. With this I present a small hymn with salute to the mother before the completion of the lake.
- Prayer Raval
