Mani Ratnam: If I get a chance, I will change all my films

- It is difficult to make a film on a real life subject. Making masala films is very easy. Making a film based on real stories against him is like having trouble

Mani Ratnam is a sensitive and top notch director. He has given one-of-a-kind Hindi films like 'Roja' ('3),' Bombay '(' 2) and 'Dil Se' (3 '). He is currently working with Aishwarya Rai and Vikram on the Tamil film Ponniyin Rolwan. Like every creator, Mani Ratnam has made up his mind to change his films. "If I get a chance, I want to change all my films like 'Roja', 'Bombay', 'Dil Se'," he says.

All of Mani Ratnam's films have been lauded by critics and have earned a place as cult films, yet the filmmaker wants a change in all his films as he wishes.

He says, 'When I make a film with a film project or if someone else is going ahead with it, we get the details, you don't mind. You need some distance to assess it and it arrives with some time, 'he explained.

But with the changing political situation and times, one wonders how easy or difficult it is to make these films today. What do you do if you get a chance and you think about those films - when asked, Mani Ratnam said, "I didn't know if I could give a 'blanket statement' for it."

Explaining this in more detail, he says, "I think it's difficult for some films to do that. You need to know what's going on. All you have to do around it and honestly ask what you still want to say about it. There is only one way that I want to see him and not only that, I want to do with what I really believe. There is nothing wrong with what you say. You make it your own way and hope it works. '

If they want to, and as a filmmaker they have the complete freedom to do whatever they want today. They also say that this could be like when I started making films. ‘Even today there are some topics with which some problems may be associated.

People have to face that problem before I start making films. This is a big confusion. ' You try to go one step further, keep trying and don't let it fall easily, 'said Mani Ratnam. He is currently working on a Tamil film with Aishwarya Rai and Vikram.

It is difficult to make a film on a real life subject. In fact, it is very easy to make films for those who want masala films. Making a film based on real stories against him is like having trouble.

Explaining the issue, he said, "You need some talent to make such masala films and you can make a good masala film.

If you’re in an easy-going mood and the way you want to tell it is also one of the reasons why you make a film. The reason is that you want to tell a story and that too in a certain way. You can try to make it on a different theme and get a good result every time. This is a struggle, it is not easy at all, 'said Mani Ratnam.
