On the small screen, actor Manish Wadhwa is always seen in a shaved incarnation. So it just so happens to us that there is no hair on his head? Or does he just not pay attention when you tell him something to do? Manish, who has appeared in a number of serials like 'Chandragupta Maurya' and 'Mahakumbh' so far, is now working in 'Hero-Disappeared Mode'. "I have never had a chance to grow my hair for the last 11 years," he says of his shaved look. I have consistently found the same characters in which I have to appear in this look.
The actor further says that I loved my Lissa-smooth hair very much. But when I was offered the role of 'Chanakya' for 'Chandragupta Maurya', it was my turn to shave. To be honest, I wasn't ready to cut my hair until the end. And the producers didn't want me to resort to prosthetics. I finally shaved two hours before giving the shot. That day was December 9, 2010. Even after I lost my hair, I still wondered what would happen to my career without hair. However, I marginalized my love of cash and surrendered to the love of art. And the sweet fruit of that dedication I have been healthy to this day.
Manish adds that at the time I also thought that when I was offered another role I would take a break for a while, and by then my new hair would have grown. But this avatar of mine was so much liked by the viewers and serial creators that after that I was offered only the characters that I needed to shave constantly. In short, it did not hurt my career. And now I am also going to work in a Telugu film called 'Shyam Singh Roy'.
