He says the entertainment world is making up for the losses of the Covid era. But it is not true that everyone has suffered unbearably. In fact, the creators are cutting the remuneration of the artist-craftsmen under the pretext of loss. But as far as I know, the top artists have doubled their fees. How can creators pay double if they don't have money?

In my opinion, if you want to cut someone's remuneration, reduce the fees of the top artists. What does it mean to cut the wages of people like Lightman? Don't they have to run their house? And if you don't have money, don't do any construction work. Our forefathers have always said that when we go straight to heaven, nothing will be tied up and taken away. Then why so much love for money?

It is not that Ronit Roy is the only one who makes such philosophical statements. He has actually implemented that as well. He actually runs his own security agency. And even when work was stopped during the lockdown, he was paying 15 of his employees. He says I gave him his salary from my savings. For the rest of the time, only Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Karan Johar gave me money from Bollywood on time. All the others ran away saying that they would give it after the end of Koro's tenure. And now where did they get Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 10,000 crore?

I believe that if you do only one show, you will not get a chance to show other aspects of your acting skills in it. And as long as you stick to that show, other creators will assume that you are busy with your work. Thinking like this, they don't try to give you a new job. It's not that I didn't get new offers after I left the show. But the offers I got were either of the same character that I played in 'Bhabhiji .....'. Similarly some other offers I didn’t like.

I am well aware that I have left this show with a huge financial loss. But to gain something you have to be prepared to lose something. And after all these years of my career, I don't want to work just for the money. I also want the satisfaction of doing new work. Else I firmly believe that if you want pearls you have to dive to the bottom of the ocean. Pearls are not found by splashing on the shore. And it's not like I'm sitting on my laurels. I already have a hobby of writing. I'm getting time for it now. So I write a lot. I might even collaborate with some musician for the songs I wrote.
