"Ashmari" is what we simply call "stones". Extremely painful this disease puts a person in a difficult situation. Kidney or bladder stones often cause unbearable pain. The number of patients with this disease is increasing at present. Stones often cause irritation of the urethra, pain in the ribs, urinary retention, thinning of the urethra, or splitting of the urethra.
In the gallbladder of a cow, dried bile due to air is formed in the form of "gorochan". In the same way, when the air in the human body dries up the bladder bile or phlegm, fossa stones are produced. 6 types of stones are shown in Ayurveda. If we discuss the causes of stones caused by air, bile, phlegm and Venus, the chances of getting stones are mainly due to urinary retention. In addition, eating more calcium-rich foods can cause stones. In addition, high salinity water, pollution of the atmosphere, overeating of junk food, excessive consumption of cold drinks are also responsible for stones. In addition, people who drink less water are more likely to develop urinary incontinence due to dehydration as well as calcification. Often due to the growth of substances like phosphate and uric acid in the urine, its particles accumulate and eventually form "stones". In modern science, "Ashmari" is also known as "Rajiahi".
Stone pain depends on its shape, location, and urethra, as well as the mucous membranes of the bladder. Smaller stones are more painful than large stones in size, as they tend to rotate around as they are smaller and as they rotate, the pain increases. While large stones in size cannot move excessively in the bladder. Similarly, exfoliated stones are more difficult than phosphate-containing stones. Because it has amplification, so the pain increases. Older men are less likely to experience pain as the bladder mucosa hardens in general than children and adolescents expect.
Urine comes to the broken edge as the urethra is obstructed by stones. Urine drips with frequent pain due to stones. Blood often accompanies the urine, and is very irritating. Many patients also experience nausea and vomiting.
If the stone is small, it is usually excreted through urine by drinking 2 to 3 liters of water a day. But if the size of the stone is large or it cannot be excreted then the operation has to be done, because if the stone is not excreted in the urethra at the right time then there is a possibility of kidney damage. But Ayurveda has shown some accurate and simple remedies which can break down the stones if they are small in size and also come out in the urethra. So, the patient avoids the risk of operation and huge expenses. Here are some simple remedies I suggest. If you have stones, one or more of the following remedies can be tried with the advice of a specialist doctor.
(1) Put Sindhav in thin buttermilk made of cow's milk and drink it every morning while standing.
(3) By making a decoction or soup of kalthi and drinking it, the stones dissolve and come out and hence the terrible pain disappears.
(3) Getting Sindhav in lemon juice and drinking it while standing in the morning also increases the chances of dissolving stones.
(2) Drinking old jaggery and turmeric obtained in buttermilk is very beneficial in "stones". In addition, in Ayurvedic herbs, Gokshur powder, Varunadi decoction, Ashmarihar decoction etc. are beneficial.
The patient with gallstones should pay close attention to the diet. Coughing diet, green vegetables (leafy), turmeric, yogurt, calcium rich diet etc. are harmful for the patient. While consuming plenty of water, buttermilk, mug, sindhav, kalthi, barley, old rice etc. is extremely beneficial for the patients of this disease.
The combination of proper medicine and diet will definitely relieve the pain of this disease.
