God Diwali.

If we look at it properly, the month of Kartak is the month of worship of Lord Vishnu. The month of Kartak begins with Sud Pratipada. This Sud Pratipada means New Year. In the full moon of Kartak month starting from this new year, it is famous by the name of Diwali. One line comes to mind: The mythological significance of the Purnima of this Kartak month is that Tulsi appeared on this Purnima day. Tulsi appeared but Kharan and Tulsiji also got married to Shaligram. So there is also the day of marriage and the day of revelation. This Tulsiji appeared in Vrindavan and hence his name Vrindavani. One of his names is Nandini, as well as other names like Krishna Jivani, Vishwa Pujita and Tulsi. So this Tulsi name is because no one in the world can compare to it.

It is described in Ganesha Purana that Lord Ganesha said to Tulsi, O Tulsi! Even if you hate me, you will still love Hari. Even if there are fifty-six types of victims, even Hari will not accept the sacrifice unless there is Tulsi Dal in the victim. Tulsi appeared in Vrindavan and Lord Gandaki appeared in the form of Shaligramji on the banks of the river. We offer a thousand Tulsi Dal on Shaligramji but when we take Tulsi Dal, we should not take all Tulsi Dal.

To keep one or two Tulsi Dal on Shaligramji. Never separate Tulsi and Shaligram. Maybe a question also arises that if Tulsi is offered today, if new Tulsi is not available the next day ..!? But there is no need to worry. The Tulsi that was offered today may not be found again the next day, but the Tulsi that was offered yesterday can be washed, purified and re-dedicated to God. Tulsi never gets stale.

According to Shiva Purana and Shrimad Devi Bhagavat, there is a story that Tulsiji first appeared to Dharmadhvaj Raja there. The flag was named after the king's wife. Tulsi went to Badri forest for penance. Tulsi wanted Lord Vishnu to receive me as a husband. But Brahmaji said to Tulsi, your wish will be fulfilled, but it will not happen now because a gop has come as a demon and he is to save the demon. This gop was none other than a gop named Sudama who has become a conch shell.

Tulsi and Shankhachud got married. There was a battle between Shankhachud and Mahadevji. The conch shell did not win because the chastity of Tulsi, its pativrat dharma protected the conch shell. When Lord Vishnu refuted that religion, Tulsi said to God, "Your heart is like a stone." That is why I, the woman of India, curse you to be stoned. That is why Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of Shaligramji and Tulsiji appeared in Vrindavan. But the time that appeared was in Kartak Sud Purni. That is why Purni is also the day of manifestation and also the day of marriage.

At the same time, according to Shiva Purana, there is a story that Mahadevji killed the Tripura demon on the full moon day of the month of Kartak and at that time the gods celebrated the victory and the gods lit lamps, hence the name of this festival is Dev Diwali. So on this occasion, there is a statement to offer Tulsi Dal on Shaligramji and if possible, if Vishnu Sahastra Naam Stotra is recited, then the very grace of Lord Vishnu rests on the person. Just like Tulsi became dear to Hari, let us also become dear to Hari with the same request Astu!
