Dipotsavi Parva has a unique glory in the history of Jainism. Aso Wadi Amas i.e. at midnight of Diwali, Lord Mahavira passed away in the village of Pavapuri in present day Bihar. On this day Lord Mahavira became free from all karma and became Siddha-Buddha.

That is the great event of Lord Mahavira's Parinirvana. Lord Mahavira performed his forty-second monsoon in Pavapuri. They landed at Talati's office of King Hastipal here. Three months passed, and the fourth half came to an end. At that time, God informed everyone who came close to him about his Nirvana time.

The news cast a shadow of mourning over Pavapuri's household; The sky was filled with pure Haiyu Raj. The lotuses in the water of the lake also became serious. Ray! Finally the separation of the beloved Lord!

The sages began to say: 'Rejoice, God will shower salvation today! The wall of the body will be removed from the center of salvation. It will be completely independent. '

The people were sighing: 'Hi Ray, where and when will this supernatural image of the Lord be seen again? Where and when will this nectar, which was found after ages, be heard again? Oops! We try hard to equate grief and joy with the promise of the wise, but joy has been replaced by grief, which is why it is not removed! Will the Lord be far away from us? '

But the devotees cannot utter a single sound of joy from their dry mouth. They say: As if God has just come among us only yesterday, the silent-blue of twelve years seems to have just rained, not two-five hundred, not a hundred buses, not even fifty-two years have passed yet. So what is this struggle for liberation? Brother, we understand your point. For them, death is not a matter of mourning, but a celebration of life. With what mind does the celebration of death take place? Whatever the light may be, but night is called night!

The Lord started the rain of preaching. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. Served continuously till sixteen o'clock. Bare Parshada became intoxicated and drank the nectar of Prabhuvani. It was as if a cloud was raining down, and the dry land was shining brightly. Even Lord Indra, who had been in the service for days, lost his courage at the last moment. Saaj decorated everything, created all the death-festivals, but at the last moment the idea of ​​lack of God also seemed very awkward to him.

On behalf of the many men and women who had gathered, Indraraj asked the Lord:

God just nodded in response.

Bhasmagraha Sankrant takes place in the constellation of your Nirvana. Is that a prediction of a bad future? '

God nodded.

'So Lord, you are omnipotent, omniscient, omnipotent. Can't your Nirvana clock be extended a little? '

The Lord spoke with a cloud-like voice: 'Indraraj, infatuation destroys the conscience, therefore it is called blind. Your love for my mortal body is calling you today. Staying close, you have become wise, yet the forefathers forgot that not a single moment of life can be increased by Sur, Asura or human. The work of the body, the cause of birth, the need of death, now a moment of life and even a particle of that moment is burdensome. Indraraj! Look, the immortal spring that never happened is blossoming. Sat, the mind is never growing in the dawn of bliss! Get ready for the reception!

In the assembled community were also the inhabitants of the Lord. He would gather the devotees and comfort them in private. As if they knew something private, they began to say: 'No matter what God says, at present they will not accept Nirvana: it is like one or two. We live in it, so we know what is inside. '

"What do you know?" The audience questioned.

We remember very well that God once told his beloved disciple Maharshi Gautam that we would both become one. Today he is the one who sent Maharshi Gautam to another village to give Dharmabodh. Without the coming of Gautamswami who cannot live even a moment without God, will God leave any body? Peace be upon you. This is the green of the Lord, our test. '

The word spread like wildfire throughout the community, but God was engrossed in the final action. Paryakas was birajya. Badar was fixed in Kayayoga by breaking the promise of mindfulness. In a few minutes Badar entered into subtle work from work. Stunned the work of speech and mind. The last particle was dripping from the vial of life, and it too was now about to be completed. The bewildered crowd was staring at M's thousand-faced face glowing with the art of the sun. Sahu's breathing was high. There was oozing on Sahu's mouth.

The Lord also stopped the last subtle work. Erased all actions, and a dazzling circle of light appeared. The night of the new moon, adorned with stars, suddenly shone with supernatural light. Jai Jayanad was heard all around. 'Lord Nirvana!' Conch shells were blown in the air, dudumbhi was played in the forest. The continent, which was shining on the world, enlightened the intuition, and was extinguished in front of the skin eyes. Indraraj, having conquered the bitter moments of Moh, was now recovering and was saying: 'Light the lamp! Create Diwali! Lord Nirvana! '

The night of the new moon shone with many lamps, but the hearts of some skeptics, eager to ask for the answer to the fact of the promise given to Guru Gautam by those inmates who gave such big words of reassurance, but they fasted because it seemed impossible to live in the absence of God. Now they were not to speak, they were not to walk!

On the other hand, the Lord's Nirvana-festival was being formed. The sky was humming with the conch, Mridang. Lord Mahavira preached all day on the day before Nirvana i.e. Kali Chaudhash. This final teaching of God is found today in the Agam Sutra called Uttaradhyayana. As a result, Shri Uttaradhyayan Sutra is recited during these two days of Kali Chaudhash and Amavasya.

On the night of Amavasya, devotees chant Lord Mahavira Swami and meditate on him. Devvandan (special prayer) is performed at midnight. Gautamswami, the first disciple of the Lord, attained enlightenment in the morning after the completion of the night of Aso Vad Amas, i.e. on the day of Kartak Sud Ekam.

V.S. The incident took place on the last morning of Aso Wadi Amas. Therefore, on the day of Kartak Sud Ekam, chanting (adoration) and Devvandan of Gautamswami is done.

In this way important events took place on the day of Kali Chaudhash, Diwali and Besata. In her memory, some devotees perform adoration, including fasting for three days. On the first day of the new year i.e. on the morning of Kartak Sud Ekam, the devotees recite Manglik Stotras (Namasmaran) and Shri Gautamswami's Raas where Sadhu Maharaj's yoga is performed.
