O Lord, don't worry about anyone's evil, give me so much understanding ... O Lord, don't hurt anyone so much, give me so much conscience ...
- Tribute to Amrut - Acharya Vijayarajaratnasuri
- The essence of Maharshi Vyasamuni's thought area in eighteen Puranas can be contained in only two lines that altruism is the cause of virtue and persecution is the cause of sin.
Frequent fires broke out in a city in Japan. When there was a fire in a remote area, there was a slight delay in getting the news to the fire brigade according to the message system of the time. This caused a lot of devastation by the time the fire brigade arrived. As a solution to this, cameras were installed on the high-rise building of the fire brigade which could detect fires from a distance. As soon as the scene is caught in the camera, the 'siren' rings and the alerted fire brigade immediately goes to the spot and starts working.
This arrangement proved to be a blessing. Fire brigades arrived on time in many distant places to put out the fire. But once a terrible thing happened. At night a terrible fire broke out at the bottom of the building itself. The camera did not capture the scene or the siren sounded. As a result, there was a lot of devastation. People wondered why the 'camera', which can capture far-flung scenes, did not speed up the building fire. The reason is that the 'camera' could capture far-near scenes. But the following scenarios could not be faster. Which means it's about to be the most delusional time of the year, as well. For desolation.
Yes, those who are good at looking at the faults and shortcomings of others, but are careless in looking at their own faults and shortcomings, their condition is like this 'camera' building of Firebgrade. It is very easy to come to the brink of desolation. That is why the scriptures have glorified introspection. ' It is written in the ten-period 'Agamshastra Chulika for Atmarthi Shramana that he should introspect in solitude at the beginning of the night or at the time of completion,' What good deeds have I done and where are they left to be done? What auspicious things are possible but I do not assimilate? And what shortcomings do I have to correct? ' Simply, this is the point of introspection. The scope of introspection on this strong role can be greatly expanded.
Even the author of the book 'Adhyatmakalpadrum' which we are contemplating, speaks in funny words about introspection in the fifteenth right. In our view, two of the ever-heart-touching verses of 'Adhyatmakalpadrum' belong to this right and one of them is related to this introspection. In today's article we will enjoy both of these verses. Let us first consider this verse of introspection. The author says to the selfless devotee:
कृताकृतं स्वस्य तपोजपाद, शक्तिरशक्ति: सुकृतेतर च;
Sada samikshasva hadath sadhye, yatasva heyam tyaj chavyarthi.
At the end of the day's business, in the evening, the business community should review how much income has been earned and how much has been earned today. Internationally acclaimed top batsmen are also reviewing their game and correcting their shortcomings by watching 'replays' of balls that have been clean bowled or caught. Whether they are athletes or artists, they all continue to develop their ability to correct their shortcomings in this way. Simply, the same policy has been adopted in the field of spirituality by the scribes in the above scriptures hundreds of thousands of years ago. Through the aforesaid verse, the Adhyatmakalpadrumagranthakar says, 'O seeker, how many yogas have he assimilated or not, out of the many self-welfare yogas? Have you fully utilized your potential in the yoga that you have assimilated? The reason for not doing yoga is physical disability etc. or negligence? You should do a special review. ' If such a review is sincere, then what is the best result? So read this heartbreaking occasion:
Acharya Bhagwant, a thirty-one year old elder, was sitting in a suburb of Ahmedabad. One morning a sister asked him for a meal. Giving a sigh, the principal asked: 'There is no day today. Then why fast? ' The sister replied: 'Sir! I have yearning for rain. The sister went. But the selfless devotee became engrossed in Acharyasri Manomanthan saying, 'I have not done Varshitap in my whole life. Maybe that would be negligence rather than powerlessness. That is why we have to do rainy season now. ' He paid homage to Jaif Varye Varshatap. And believe? After this incident, they continued the rainstorm one after the other till the end of their life and made a total of thirty-three rainstorms !! Even when he passed away at the age of one hundred and four years, he continued to practice continuous rain. This is the effect of hearty review. A Punyapurush means Sanghasthavir Acharya Pravar Shri Siddhisurishwarji Maharaj.
In the second half of the verse, the author makes a nice statement that 'that which is attainable - strive for the goal and give up that which is wasted. Because yes seeker! You are a savior. ' How much of a 'barteach' is this? Remember that when a sculptor creates a statue out of a stone, he does not add anything to it. In terms of the shape of the statue, it removes the useless parts of the stone by means of citations. The result is that the image of the Lord appears from the stone. In the same way, if we remove the useless parts of faults and evil deeds through the citations of sadhana, then Paramatma can be manifested in our soul itself, the soul itself can become Paramatma. The condition is that the willingness to give up and the pursuit of the goal must be strong.
The author's second everlasting verse in this right is:
Parsya pidaparivarjanatte, tridha triyogyapyamala sadastu;
Psychoanalytic activity.
The name of this right, as mentioned earlier, is the right to punishment. The auspicious instinct corresponding to the name, extending, is presented in this verse. Auspicious instincts generally mean auspicious thoughts of the mind. But in this right it has a special meaning that the practice of mind-promise and body yoga is called auspiciousness. For the purity of the three yogas that are meant to be auspicious in this interpretation, the above verse emphasizes one word that is to renounce oppression. It says, 'O seeker, you must not have thoughts or behaviors that cause pain to others. Thou shalt not think of any thing that hurtth the mind, nor speak words of hurtfulness to the word of promise, nor do the act of tormenting the little Shia out of the body. Constantly being used in this way will instinctively balance your mind. Will be free from bad choices, will be free from speech and will be free from inappropriate activity. Simply, this is the purity of the three yogas.
A famous verse of Ajain tradition comes to mind against this statement of the author. It states that the essence of Maharshi Vyasamuni's thought field in eighteen Puranas can be contained in only two lines that altruism is the cause of virtue and persecution is the cause of sin. Philanthropy: Punyapap, papaya parpid nam. ' If such promises become stable, then not only in the life of the seeker, but also in the life of the rulers where the referendum is going on day and night. So read this event shining in golden letters on the pages of history.
Minaldevi, the mother of Siddharraj Jayasinghe, the famous prince of Gujarat. About a thousand years ago, he built a huge lake to solve the water problem of the people. It was the Queen's wish that the lake should become a complete circle. The only obstacle was an old man's house. The queen mother herself explained to the old man that I should give you another house bigger than this from the state. You give this house to the lake round. But since the old woman was in love with the same house, she refused to give it to him. The queen mother thought that the monarchy should not be used in such a way as to cause persecution. Even if the lake becomes a little crooked, don't take the place of the former. It turned out to be a little crooked at the end of the lake. Since then a saying has become prevalent that 'If you want to see justice, look at Malavatalawa.'
Finally a great Lord's Prayer: 'O Lord, don't worry about anyone's badness so much understanding. I don't want to hurt anyone. '
