Casino Capital will now open casinos across the country ....?

- After six casinos in Goa, the Maharashtra government had planned to start casinos in Matheran and Poona, while there is talk of setting up casinos in Delhi, Bangalore and Cochin.

The state government plans to transform Matheran, the hill station closest to Mu Baini. Instead of developing a new hill station in the state, the Maharashtra government has decided to give a new look to Matheran and build a recreation center with an airfield. Called good. But the government's intentions do not seem to be good. Because the government wants to start a casino in Matheran under the pretext of developing this hill station.

According to the plan, a casino, discotheque and music hall will be set up at Matheran, a beautiful hill station in the Western Ghats. Casey Goa is currently the only offshore facility in India to enjoy the greenery and natural beauty during the day and enjoy the nightlife at night.

The only hurdle in giving a new look to Matheran is that Matheran has been declared an environmentally sensitive area (eco-sensitive zone) so development work is not possible there.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy recently said that people are already calling Goa a casino capital. Therefore, if the state benefits, the central government can declare Goa as a casino capital. People go to Goa or Sikkim to play casino. Casinos are allowed in both these states.

Although there are more than a dozen casinos in six offshore casinos and five star hotels in Goa, the state has not yet formulated a comprehensive policy for its operation. The offshore casino is in Mandovi and the port department is looking for alternative locations to restore it but has not had much success over the years.

Those who enjoy the fun of the rest of the casinos, whether it is Matheran or Goa, need to be attracted towards such glamorous casinos.

If a magnificent steamer floats in the sea, the cool light of the moon shines in the darkness of the night, the cool wind blows with the rhythmic sound of the waves of the sea, the company of wine and beauty, then where is the gambler's mind to try his luck?

One such luxury boat was launched by an adventurer floating in the sea near Goa a decade ago for gamblers. The name of the steamer is 'Caravela'. This Portuguese-style luxury liner is a cruise liner, but it is more appropriate to call it a floating casino or a floating casino. Because this steamer was floated with the sole purpose of gambling.

The steamer, which can accommodate 200 people, weighs 1000 tons. More steamous as Casino Goa, this steamer has all the amenities and amenities of a grand casino like the one seen in Europe-America. Everything here runs in statistics. Money and alcohol are plentiful here. Caravans are equipped with rough-and-tumble bodyguards, armed guards and hidden video cameras, similar to those seen in other casinos. Launched with an investment of Rs 11 crore, the floating casino has all the interiors made with items imported from Europe, America and Australia. Its chandeliers, rugged rugs, fireproof ceilings, carpets, furniture all make for a Las Vegas casino. Thus the culture of casinos has invaded India, not directly on land but also by sea.

The lawsuit was filed a few years ago in the state of Maharashtra, demanding the implementation of a 20-year-old law legalizing casinos.

The petitioner had argued in court that the Maharashtra Casino (Control and Tax) Act had been passed in the Legislative Assembly in 19 and was also mentioned in the Government Gazette, though it has not been notified yet.

The law includes a provision to license casinos to allow certain types of casino games and to impose tax on the amount paid or to be paid by participants through stacks or bets. At present, Goa and Sikkim are the only two states in India where casinos operate, the PIL alleges, adding that the Maharashtra government has evaded the law in a judicious and unreasonable manner by not notifying the law.

In this way, there are citizens in the society who want to start a casino in the country.

While investors from Germany, Japan and South Africa are being lured by expensive attractions such as buildings, high-tech and amusement parks and floating restaurants, there is no doubt that casinos like gambling dens will slowly enter in the near future. Floating casinos started in the millennium (2000)

Was missed.

At present six ships with casinos are floating in the Mandovi River in Goa. In between, there was talk of allowing these casino-ships to anchor five nautical miles offshore. So that environmentalists can be silenced. The Goa government was in the process of launching more casinos to gain a reputation like the gambling town of Macau. But with the growing public outcry, the files of the scheme have now been piled up. However, the leaders and babus want casinos to be allowed to start. So that a new source of income arises for the debt-ridden state governments. Nine different companies operating casinos in Hong Kong, Nepal, Britain, Russia, USA, Malaysia, Canada etc. have sought permission to start large scale casinos in India. Some companies have even shown the government such a lollipop that if you start a casino, there will be an influx of foreign tourists and you will also get valuable foreign exchange.

Former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had staged an agitation against casinos during the 2012 Assembly elections. The BJP had fought the Goa Assembly elections on the issue of removing offshore casinos from Jung J Mandovi but despite being in power for the last 10 years, the party has failed to restore them. Every six months the state government decides to extend the permission to continue offshore casinos.

Decades ago, Advani Pleasure Cruise Company started a floating casino with the intention of turning Goa into a tourist destination. Gambling can be done on this steamer by betting from Rs.100 to Rs.10,000 on American Roulette, Black Jack, Indian Game etc. Apart from this, modern gambling slot machines have also been set up. There is also a private gambling room on the steamer for the wealthy and wealthy who want to keep their identities secret. Apart from this, the floating casino has two suites to stay in, five rooms and a swimming pool. There is also a Safe Vault with 12 digital locks so that guests can save their private money.

In such a way that the gambling laws prevailing in the country of India cannot be touched, these floating casinos are located 15 km from the coast of Goa (Panaji). Kept away at sea. However, an annual license fee of Rs 5 crore is paid for this floating casino, which was started with the permission of the Goa government. If you want to start a casino in a hotel, you have to pay Rs 20 lakh per year as license fee.

Children are not allowed on this steamer. Any adult remaining Rs. This steamer can be boarded from the jetty at Panaji by paying an entrance fee of Rs.500 to Rs.2000. A dinner cruise, which starts at 6 pm and ends at 6 am, offers guests a 15-course dinner with a cruise. Alcohol is also true. In addition, half of the entrance fee paid by him is refunded in the form of gambling coins. There is no extra charge for dinner. On the second floor of the steamer are elegant bar rooms. Where high quality foreign liquor is found. There is a lot of Surat girls company for gambling and drinking!

The steamer, designed by interior designers in the gambling city of Las Vegas, has been launched in partnership with Austria International. Casino Austria has experience operating a total of 200 casinos in 6 countries and on 30 luxury steamers.

The floating casino is planned in such a way that only foreigners are invited for the first trip starting at 10.30 am. They are given a glimpse of the Goa coast as well as some of the islands. In the meanwhile, they are given a taste of Goan specialties and the famous wine, kajufeni.

The administrators of this floating casino argue that there is an urgent need for such a floating casino on the shores of Goa. Thousands of foreign tourists visit Goa every year. All their other comforts are available in the hotel here. But the lack of casinos plagued them. Besides, if Indian tourists are going to Nepal, Hong Kong or Singapore, Malaysia just to fulfill their hobby of playing in casinos, then why not set up such facility in India?

Sticking to such arguments, the state governments of Goa, Delhi, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh are now considering launching casinos in a unique way and in defiance of the law.

A businessman from Bangalore and a beach resort hotel group in Goa have sponsored the steamers and offered to join hands with the government in the casino business. In addition to games like roulette, backcart, blackjack and poker, each of these ships with swimming pool and bar is worth Rs 3 crore.

Even now, five star hotels like Leela Beach Resort and Ramadarenisons in the state of Goa have gambling clubs and slot machines. But the fun of the casino will be nothing. Because in a casino, a man gambles with the person sitting in front, not on the machine. Millionaire millionaires from Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta are eager to loot millions of rupees if they get to gamble while sipping alcohol in the sod of beauties.

However, if the central government delays the opening of casinos, then the process of opening casinos like in Goa will continue.
