Doctors say that if you feel extremely weak for 15-20 days, you start having difficulty in getting up-sitting-dressing by yourself, bruises appear on the body, then it is possible that you have reached the level of myositis.

In myositis, the muscles become weak as the person's antibodies continue to damage the muscles. This is common after viruses such as malaria and dengue. In fact, in both these diseases, the patient's muscles become swollen and it becomes difficult for him to sit up. In some cases, rash appears on the skin of fever. However, the possibility of it happening again cannot be ruled out. It can reappear anytime. It is better to start treatment as soon as it is detected. And it should not be left in the middle. He further says that since this disease is caused by other diseases, during its treatment, other diseases, especially cancer, are also checked first. The patient gradually recovers. Doctors add that there is a higher risk of myositis in areas where diseases like malaria are prevalent. Smoking also plays an indirect role in causing myositis. Steroids are used in its treatment.
